47 1 "The Virus, Part 1" Omar Madha Neil Cross 6.61 16 October 2007 (BBC One)

Section D receive intelligence that an Iranian agent, Mehan Asnik, is planning to attack London during a peace deal between Iran and the UK. Adam's team travel to Tehran to kill him and make it look like a terror attack. It is
successful, but Asnik left the train before hand and wishes to defect for what he knows. Once back in the UK, mercenaries ambush the team and capture Mehan and Zaf, who is wounded. It is revealed that Asnik is infected with a
weaponised virus by someone only known as "Copenhagen", who also fed MI5 false information that Asnik is a terrorist and intended to unleash a plague in Iran. A deal is made to exchange Zaf for money, but Adam is kidnapped as
well during the exchange. Before Adam escapes, the mercenaries release an already contagious Asnik into the public.

Adam is infected, and continues working despite the 18 hour incubation period. Learning either France, India, Russia, or the US has their hands on a vaccine, the team kidnap a member from each party, including CIA agent Bob
Hogan (Matthew Marsh). They bring them to the bunker of former MI5 officer Connie James (Gemma Jones). Threatening them with the virus, the Russian, Edik Kuznetzov reveals his people have the vaccine. By then, Adam starts
showing symptoms. Despite troubles from the other Russian agents, the vaccine is delivered and the plague is halted. Meanwhile, Ros learns that French intelligence may know the wherabouts of Zaf, but before following up on
possible leads, she is shot with a stun dart in her home.

49 3 "The Kidnap" Charles Beeson Rupert Walters 6.12 23 October 2007 (BBC Three)

Ros is abducted by a shadow organisation known as Yalta, who torture her to recruit her. She is given evidence that Zaf may still be alive. Meanwhile, a cargo plane crashes near a US base. Section D learn that the Americans may
be responsible for the crash. Adam and Malcolm infiltrate a UFO enthusiast group outside the base in order to break in. The two realise that the crash was caused by a prototype stealth plane "Aurora", which followed MI5 during their
operation in Tehran, leading Adam to believe the Americans are running "Copenhagen".

50 4 "The Extremist" Charles Beeson David Farr 5.62 30 October 2007 (BBC Three)

Algerian extremist Abdul Kahrami, breaks out of house arrest to launch an attack against the Iranian Special Consul, Darious Bakhshi (Simon Abkarian). Adam appoints Bakhshi's wife, Ana (Agni Scott), whom Adam had an affair with,
to spy on her husband, but reveals that no one in the embassy is involved. Kahrami captures Jo, and puts her in the rigged car. Adam alerts Bakhshi about the bomb and escapes, whilst freeing Jo just before the bomb goes off. Ros
uses Yalta's help to arrest Kahrami again.

51 5 "The Deal" Brendan Maher Zinnie Harris 5.58 6 November 2007 (BBC Three)

A Russian is selling the Iranians blueprints for firing triggers so they can gain nuclear capability. Adam kills a journalist who disguises himself as a mugger, and as a consequence, reporter Ben Kaplan (Alex Lanipekun) publishes the
story and Adam is on the run. The Grid follows the Russian, and are able to switch the blueprints with fake ones, so the Iranian nuclear programme will be set back. Adam is cleared when they find out the mugger was a set-up. In the
end, Ana turns on Adam and tries to kill him; Ros stops this and learns that Bakhshi knows the blueprints are fake and is able to obtain a real firing trigger. Ros then supposedly kills Ana.

52 6 "The Courier" Brendan Maher George Tiffin 5.30 13 November 2007 (BBC Three)

Harry hears there is a mole within the Grid, not realising it is Ros. Meanwhile, they discover that a courier with the firing trigger is boarding a flight to Tehran to hand it over to the Iranians. Adam and Ros go undercover in the flight to
find the courier. They soon learn there is an extra passenger on the flight, which is revealed to be a CIA agent; Adam accidentally kills him. However, after the plane lands, it is revealed the pilot is the courier, and the trigger is already
in Iranian hands.

53 7 "Broadcast" Stefan Schwartz David Farr 4.94 20 November 2007 (BBC Three)

After acquiring the firing trigger, Iran agrees to suspend the nuclear programme if they reach a new peace accord to the UK and US on a live BBC current affairs programme. However, the show is hijacked by armed terrorists, who
wants the participants to confirm on-air that Iran is now a nuclear state, and threaten to shoot the hostages if broadcasting is cut or interrupted. Harry and Connie learn that the man who let the gunmen in was MI5. After capturing him,
he reveals that Yalta is behind the plot. With Ben Kaplan's help, Adam and Ros stop the gunmen. In the end, Adam discovers that Ana is still alive, and is moving to Vancouver to start a new life.

54 8 "Infiltration" Stefan Schwartz Neil Cross 5.26 27 November 2007 (BBC Three)

After Yalta's activities are known, Bob Hogan assassinates several members. Realising she's exposed, Ros turns herself in, but vows to win back Harry and Adam's trust to help them stop Yalta. She was approached to give them
codes in order to take down the American defense satellite network. After acquiring the codes, Harry is captured and discovers that Juliet Shaw is behind Yalta, who start attacking the network with a logic bomb, which Malcolm is able
to disable. However, in the process, Juliet gives Ros a lethal injection. Fortunately, Adam is able to switch the injection with a paralysing agent beforehand, faking her death. During her funeral, Adam revives her and gives her a new
identity to hide from Hogan.

55 9 "Isolated" Alrick Riley Neil Cross 4.84 4 December 2007 (BBC Three)

Adam confesses MI5's involvement in the Tehran train bomb to Kaplan. Before handing over the proof, Section D is closed down. Furthermore, someone from Whitehall approves one of Harry's former assets from the IRA, Davie King,
to assassinate the team. King contacts Harry, and is told he has planted a bomb in London; the team must approach the car carrying the bomb. If they warn the authorities, the bomb will detonate. With their wits, the team find King
and stop him.

56 10 "The School" Alrick Riley Ben Richards 5.68 18 December 2007 (BBC One)

Zaf is found tortured to death in Pakistan. The group who kidnapped him, the Redbacks, return to London to capture Jo. Harry learns that the visiting Venezuelan President is targeted for assassination. In exchange for stopping the
assassin, he will give Section D the location of a London school some terrorists, who oppose the Iran/West peace deal, have targetted. While Adam attempts to retrieve Jo, he is betrayed by Bob Hogan, who is revealed to be working
for the Redbacks. After he, and the assassin are captured, the British, Americans and Venezuelans stop the threat against the school, and retrieve Adam and Jo. However, before they arrive, Adam supposedly kills Jo, who does not
wish to suffer the same fate Zaf did.
