PRIMARY ASSIGNMENT
With Maco Corporation India Pvt Ltd, as General Manager (Business
Development).Maco is the largest and the most reputed marketing house in
India for Imported equipment and technologies for Steel, Power, and Refinery
etc industries.
Responsible for business development and marketing of different kinds of
Hi- Tec / High Value Capital equipment of Foreign origin to the major Steel
Plants in India.
Have successfully established the products of several new companies from
Canada, Germany ,Finland, China etc in the Indian Steel Plants
Also, responsible for Turnkey execution of several high projects involving
key/principal equipment from our Principals at Bokaro, Bhilai and Rourkela
Steel Plants.

Have excellent working relationships with practically all major Steel Plants and
Consultants viz SAIl,TISCO , Bhushan, Jindal,Ispat, Essar, Mecon, Dasturco
etc .

Good familiarity with equipment /process in the Caster, Hot Strip and Cold
Rolling Mill areas and in particular to equipment such as Mould Level
Controllers, Slab and Strip Marking Machines, Roll Force Load Cells, Strip
Tensiometers, Thickness ,Profile/Width/Flatness/Coating Gauges, Heavy Duty
Ladle Cranes , Machining of Steel Mill Housings etc

Also, involved in sourcing of New Products for Steel Mill application from all
over the world, besides framing of Agency Agreements, Joint Venture proposals
etc.

In general, have been instrumental is acquiring business in excess of Rs 100

crores each year during the past several years.

Was involved in establishing and implementing the 1st Joint Venture for the
Maco Group with a German company, Koppern Gmbh. Served as the CEO for

CURRENT SECONDARY ASSIGNMENT (since March 2010 till date )

As Managing Director of Metalock Maco Engineering Services Pvt Ltd. This is a

Joint Venture between Metalock, Sweden and Maco. Metalock provides a range
of specialist engineering services to a diverse range of engineering industries all
around the world, which include Power Generation, Marine, Petro Chemical,
Steel, Paper, Pressing & Forging, Mining and Offshore. For details of the

The Company has been started with an initial paid up Capital of Rs 40 million
and a workshop is an integral part of the venture.

The objective of the Company is to pursue challenging opportunities of the most

critical and complicated In-situ Machining requirement in Steel Plant-Rolling
Mill Housing Machining, Turbine Casing and Blade machining in Power Plants,
equipment and other seat machining in Sub-Marines and Naval Warships being
built with French know how.

PREVIOUS SECONDARY ASSIGNMENT (since April 2006 till February 2010)

As the Managing Director for another new Joint Venture of the Maco group,
with a very reputed German company, IMS Messsyteme. IMS is the undisputed
world leader in the field of Thickness, Profile and Flatness Gauging equipment
based on X ray and Gamma - Ray technology. The application area is Hot and
Cold Rolling Mills.

Was responsible for identifying the Company and then making them agree to
work with Maco group in a Joint Venture. Principal responsibility is to establish
the IMS brand in India and setting up efficient marketing and service
organizations. The company has since completed 5 years of commercial

operation and a majority of the initial objectives have been met quiet
satisfactorily.

PREVIOUS SECONDARY ASSIGNMENT (until March 2006)

From April 1987 until March 2006, was also responsible for the all operational
aspects of the Ist Joint Venture of the Maco group, ie KOPPERN MACO
SERVICES PVT. LTD., with C.E.O. level responsibility.

This is an INDO-GERMAN Joint Venture between Maschinenfabrik Köppern

GmbH, Germany (51%) and Maco Corporation (49%). Koppern are one of the
world leaders in the field of Roller Press Technology for Briquetting,
Compacting and Comminution. In India, the premier customers include L&T,
GRASIM, ESSAR, JINDAL, LAFARGE, etc.

The Company is currently involved in marketing and servicing of Koppern

equipment in India. Within 1 year of its startup, the company had performed
beyond expectations and continues to perform extremely well.

The company celebrated its 10 anniversary in December 2007.

November 1995 to May 1996

With RADIANT INDUSTRIES LTD., Kolkata as Senior Engineer (Projects).

Marketing and tendering for projects for Bulk Material Handling and Processing
Systems employing belt conveyors, vibrating screens crushers etc.
Was the team leader of the team securing a major contract worth Rs. 10.00 crores
from BIRLA COPPER during this period.

July 1989 to September 1995

With MACMET INDIA LTD., Kolkata, initially as Trainee Engineer and finally
as Junior Manager. Besides project marketing/tendering of several high-value
projects of major Steel Plants, in association with leading companies from Japan
and Germany. Was also singularly responsible for execution of a prestigious
project worth approx. Rs. 2 crores from M/s. VESUVIUS INDIA LTD., for their
refractory material plant, at Kolkata.

Also received excellent exposure and training from the company, covering
practically all aspects of Corporate Governance.

Present Salary Rs. 24.0Lacs (Per Annum) + Company Maintained Car + Liberal Benefits. +
Commission/Bonus. In total, approx. Rs 30-36 lacs per annum, depending
upon individual performance and profitability of the acquired business.
