left features unavailable

summaries

 When applying GRMS and changing the default alarm settings, the settings remained at the
default values
 Error when Communications Window was undocked
 Program crashed when importing iButton data

A new tab has been added in the File Viewer that displays a “home” screen.
 Hardware Status Display (v27 firmware and newer):
The Communications Window now displays the hardware status if different items are built in
(black=available, green=active). If there are no added options, this panel is not shown.
 RTF Report Generator:
This tool allows the user to select various results/graphs from a record into a RTF (Rich Text
Format) file. The RTF files are easily read by a large number of word processing packages
including WordPad, Microsoft Word, OpenOffice.org Writer and IBM Lotus. Once opened in
these packages, the document can be formatted to produce a detailed report.
 Summary Column Selection:
This tool allows the user to select which Summary columns are displayed on the Summary Tab.
This selection is carried forward to both the CSV exporter and the RTF Report generator.
 GPS Exporter:
Exports all GPS data to a *.GPX file which can be uploaded to a number of sites for display.
GPSVisualizer or Google Earth is recommended. The combined Summary and Event GPS
positions are used to create the route information and “pins” are used for the events. Each pin
will show the event number when cursor hovers over it and when clicked, an event summary is
shown.
 Help and Quick Start Manual:
The Help Menu options now display the ShockLog Manual and Quick Start Manual as PDFs.
(They expect to find Adobe Acrobat Reader; if this is not installed on your system, a shortcut to
download it can be found in the “Documents” directory of the installation CD.)
 Security Log View (v27 firmware and newer):
New option added called “Security Log View” in the View Menu which displays the security log
from a downloaded file.
Improved Features:
 Internal Temperature in Summaries:
The internal temperature is always recorded in summaries, but was only displayed in the Slots
internal temperature was selected. It is now shown by default.
 Language Support:
The following languages are now supported:
 Simplified Chinese - zh-CN
 Dutch - nl-NL
 English - en-US
 French - fr-FR
 German - de-DE
 Italian- it-IT
 Japanese - ja-JP
 Korean - ko-KR
 Spanish - es-ES
Note: Upon installation, the language defaults to English.
To change it to the locale from the main menu, go to ->
Tools -> Graph and Unit Options. Depending on the
languages installed on your operating system, a selection

be 3 choices: English, detected language, and Invariant
Language. The Invariant Language will automatically select
the base system operating language if multiple languages are installed.
