(Recuerda el día más feliz de tu vida. Después, escribe acerca de lo que sucedió, cómo te sentiste y por qué fue un día importante para ti. Usa los

Consider the following questions as a reference to elaborate your paragraph:

What was the happiest day of your life?
Certainly not only I have only one day, but I think the best of all is when my first daughter was
born since it was the biggest emotion, I had experienced.
What happened?
When I saw her for the first time, I knew that I would change my life completely and that it
would not only be a happy day, but many more.
How did you feel?
As the luckiest person in the world.
Why was the happiest day of your life?
Being a father was what I wanted for a long time and knowing that it was a reality made me
very happy.
When I met the one who was my wife, I knew undoubtedly that I wanted to form a family with
that person and after insisting for some time, we finally managed to have our first daughter
who was not full of happiness? The first years were somewhat complicated, but nothing remained the
happiness we felt to be new parents where you learn many things and although I do not consider
myself the best father, I have the fortune that my daughter believes and with that I feel more than
satisfied.

2. Why is it important to know about the past events? Write a paragraph of 5 to 8 lines to answer the question.
(¿Por qué es importante saber sobre eventos del pasado? Redacta un párrafo de 5 a 8 líneas para responder la pregunta.)

Semana 2
Unit III. Customs and traditions

Knowing our history is important, because it helps us understand our present. The study of history allows us to learn from the mistakes
of our ancestors, so we do not do the same things they did, and we work to become a better place. Reading history of other countries
also helps one to realize that for all the problems one has in one’s own country, other countries have their problems, too. Often, they are
quite like what one experiences at home. No society is perfect. In fact, no society is anywhere near perfect. We all have our specific
ways of dealing with problems, and often, they are hardly complete solutions.
