Rebar

We supply rebar of standard diameters and lengths; the rebar can be supplied in the form of high tensile or mild
steel.

Applicable Standards
• SANS 282: 2011 - Bending dimensions and scheduling • SANS 920:2011 - Steel bars for concrete reinforcement

Shape codes

All shape codes are as per SANS 282:2011 specification.

NB: Shape code 99 shall be used for all other shape codes. A dimensioned sketch of the shape shall be shown
in the client’s bending schedule as per engineer. Radii of all bends are standard unless r is given in the bending
schedule.
