Work in pairs.
Student A: Imagine that it’s your friend You look exhausted! What’s happened?
in the pictures below. Point to a square
on the grid and ask what has happened.
I haven’t slept all night.
Student B: Explain what has happened.
Give details of the situation. Use the
present perfect and past simple. You haven’t slept all night? Why not?
Swap roles. Continue until you have
used all the situations.   I started reading a book in the evening and
it was so fascinating that I wanted to know
what happened in the end.
