1 Introduction 
This document is an addendum to the Request for Proposal for Axis IT Managed Services dated
22 June 2012.

The purpose of this document is primarily to invite Vendors to re-submit Proposals for the Axis
IT Managed Services scope based on the feedback received during the clarification meetings.
Vendors are requested to re-submit complete commercial proposals.

The second requirement is to submit a proposal for incremental changes to the scope of the RFP.
Axis proposes a model in this Addendum which all Vendors are invited to comply with and
provide standard pricing for scope changes.

Since the issue of the original RFP two additional applications have been identified to be added
in the scope of this RFP and these can be used as test cases for this model for scope changes.

2 Additional Scope 
Two additional applications have been identified in the scope of the RFP. These are detailed
further below. Vendors are requested to include these two applications and supporting
infrastructure in the re-submission of the Proposal in Annex 4 - Pricing Addendum 1.

2.1 AxisNet (LinkIT) 
AxisNet is a custom application developed locally by LinkIT for Axis. The application provides
Axis subscribers with a free service for selfcare e.g. current balance, overview of data consumed,
purchase of subscription bundles, chat with Contact centre etc.

2.1.1 Functional Description 
• AXIS net platform is AXIS portal framework for online solution and multiple plug-in
to enable AXIS to integrate to its many online systems with API. The major function
of AXIS net is as Self-Care portal which enable user to management their prepaid
balance, data package and usage.

• AXIS net is accessible from various inbound; WEB, WAP, Native Application (iOS,
Android, BlackBerry and Windows Phone Platform).

2.2 CDM (iCode) 
2.2.1 Functional description : 
• The CDM platform handles services for customers for sending handset setting
automatically through several interfaces, main interface are SMS (SIM Applet, SMS
specific Format), and Web/API integrated with AXIS Portal,
• It also support for USSD/UMB and IVR channel, where it is Integrated with EAI.
• Example : for sending GPRS,WAP, MMS setting to subscriber handset.
2.2.2 Features on the CDM system: 
• Support for SMS, Web/ API, USSD/ UMB and IVR access channels
• IMEI Database and Libarary configuration handset (at least 80% of handset market)
• OTA Activation
• IMEI-Tracker function.
2.3 Capacity : 
• Based on proposal CDM will support 853 TPS at least (dimansioning traffic for 3
years)
2.3.1 Database IMEI

3 Instruction to Bidders 

3.1 General Instructions 

• Vendors are invited to re-submit Proposals by 22 August 2012 at 17h00 to the same Axis
contact person, address and encryption as per original RFP either by e-mail. No
hardcopies are required.
• Vendors that do not re-submit by this date original Proposal will be used in the final
decision process.
• The Vendor shall make explicit and clear any assumptions made in the response, all
commercial assumptions should be listed in the Annex 4 – Pricing Addendum 1.

3.2 Contract Duration Clarification 
The term of the Contract with the successful vendor will be 4 years (48 months) excluding the
transition period, with Axis having the option to extent at the end of the 4 years with additional
year on year basis with the same terms and conditions.

3.3 Changes to Scope  
Axis requests prospective Vendors to provide a commercial proposal for changes (increase
or decrease) in scope. The purpose of this model is to ensure simplicity of governance,
predictability in future pricing and prior agreement on how to handle scope changes.

Pricing for this model needs to be completed in the Pricing Sheet (Changes in Scope) in
Addendum 1 and will be applicable to increases or decrease in future scope. Should a
Vendor have any limit or conditions on increase or decrease in scope during the first,
second, third or fourth year of the contract these should be clearly documented in the
commercial assumptions Annex 4 – Pricing Addendum Assumptions sheet.

In case the Vendor have different pricing due to inflation for year 1 to year 4 the Vendor
should provide either the percentage increase per year or use four tables, one for each year.

Two additional applications have been added to the scope since the original RFP.
Prospective Vendors are requested to price these as per the proposed Axis model for
increment or decrement of scope. In case the Vendor differs from Axis assessment for
these two applications in terms of application size (medium) please document the reasons.

3.3.1 Changes to scope model 

The model Axis proposes is described below and shall include all required services as
described in the original RFP:

• Service Desk and Applications Support Level 1-3 and Level 4 Vendor Management
• Application Operations.
• Infrastructure Support.

Axis proposes an application based model where applications are categorized as Large,
Medium or Small and as per Service Level Requested Bronze, Silver or Gold.

The Vendor will propose prices for each service, category and application size as per the
table in Annex 4 – Pricing Addendum 1. All pricing assumptions are to be documented in
the Assumptions sheet.

The Vendor is not required to rework existing application pricing already provided in the
original proposal as per this model. However Vendors are welcome to re-submit according
to this model if they prefer to.
