Metro extension from Dilshad Garden to Ghaziabad

Project Objectives To provide the commuters a faster and

cheaper alternative to the existing public
transport system. To solve the problem of
solve the problem of overcrowding,
insufficient security in other modes of
transport that trouble commuters
Product Scope Definition The connection from Ghaziabad via
Dilshad Garden will provide the residents
with a substitute to the existing Anand
Vihar-Vaishali line. The alignment will
have seven stations - at Shahid Nagar, Raj
Bagh, Rajendra Nagar, Shyam Park,
Mohan Nagar, Arthala and New Bus
Stand. The average distance between the
stations is 1.35km
Project Requirements The overhead structure should meet all the
design specifications as mentioned in the
clearance documents
Project Boundaries The project boundary covers the route
between Ghaziabad and Dilshad garden
and the construction of 6 stations that are
planned. It does not include any extra that
is provided by DMRC. It also does not
include any specific service that will be
provided in a station
