Gender discrimination / Gender inequality

Issues:

1. Gender stereotypes refer to cliches which a man or woman is supposed to do or be like:

“Women are nurses, not doctors. Men are doctors, not nurses

Women are supposed to cook and do house work. Men are supposed to have a job”

2. The impact of gender discrimination on satisfaction & motivation, commitment &


enthusiasm and stress level was assessed through Pearson product moment correlation
co-efficient. The results show that gender discrimination decreases satisfaction &
motivation and commitment & enthusiasm level of employees, and increases the stress
level in the employees.

Research question:

1) What do they think gender equality means?


2) When are men and women equal?
3) How to reduce gender inequality in an organization?
