This study investigated whether female physicians have different perceptions of diversity management and workplace happiness than male physicians, and whether diversity management perceptions mediate the relationship between workplace happiness and organizational citizenship behavior. The findings show that female physicians perceive diversity management more positively than their male colleagues, gender has little effect on perceptions of workplace happiness, and workplace happiness affects organizational citizenship behavior, with diversity management practices mediating the relationship between workplace happiness and citizenship behavior.
