FADE IN:

1 EXT. WOODRIDGE HILL. NIGHT

We see DANIEL, ANU and JACKSON sitting on a hill. They are

reminiscing on their past.

ANU
Do you remember that time in year nine
when you got your arm stuck in a table
hole?

DANIEL
Of course, I still have the scar even
to this day. Remember when you used to
jump on my back at peer support camp
and scream.

Jackson is silent and looks off into the distance, not

knowing what to say.

DANIEL
Jackson, tell Anu about that psycho ex
of yours. I think her name was Kasey.

Jackson's eyes widen and his mouth opens slightly, his tone
of voice becomes fast and urgent.

JACKSON
Kasey is psycho, she's scary shit bro,
be lucky you've never had to know her.

Jackson closes his mouth and looks into the distance.

CUT TO:

2 EXT. JOHNSONVILLE. DAY

Jackson and KASEY are seen walking down the street with each
other holding hands.

JACKSON
Kasey, so I've been hearing from
people that you've been up to some
suspicious stuff. I trust you, please
tell me the truth. Is it true?

KASEY
No, none of it is true, trust me. It's
all fake, I would never do anything so
crazy and psycho, you know that.

Jackson, without looking, bumps into SOPHIE. They lock eyes

and both of their eyes widen. They smile at each other and
then carry on. Kasey stares at Daniel.

KASEY
Who's that.

DANIEL
Nobody? I literally bumped into her,
chill. I don't even like her. I would
never leave you.

CUT TO:

2 WEEKS LATER

3 EXT. NEW WORLD. DAY

Jackson and Kasey are facing each other.

DANIEL
Kasey, I like Sophie, y'know the girl
I bumped into two weeks ago. I think
we should break up. All these rumours
about you are just getting to weird
and I'm starting to get involved in
them. I don't want that for myself.
I'm sorry but I like Sophie now, not
you.

KASEY
I know. I know you two have talked
since I've heard all about it. I don't
mind, I want you to be happy.

DANIEL
Really? So you are okay with it?

KASEY
Yep, I am.

Kasey's head lowers as she suddenly turns and walks away from
Daniel.

CUT TO:

4 INT. ANU'S HOUSE. NIGHT

Daniel is awoken by a series of knocks outside his room.

Slowly, he gets out of bed and opens the door. The knocking
ceases, however, is now replaced with the sound of running

water from the tap in the bathroom. Daniel exits the room,
and turns the hall light on. He makes his way toward the
bathroom. He opens the door and turns on the light. Kasey is
standing there, holding a knife in her right hand

KASEY
If I ever see you and Sophie together
again, I will kill you. If you ever
tell anyone of this encounter, I will
kill you. If I can't have you, then
nobody else can.

Jackson stumbles back and falls on the ground, his eyes

widened and his mouth wide open. Kasey points the knife
toward his face.

KASEY
Don't speak or yell. When I'm gone,
you will never see me again, but I
will always see you. I'll be watching
you all the time.

Kasey then punches Jackson in the face, knocking him out.

CUT TO:

5 INT. ANU'S HOUSE. DAY

Jackson wakes up. He gets up and staggers downstairs to finds

a note from his mother, telling him that she and his father
were going away for a couple of days and that they would be
back soon. They also note that their dog has gone missing.

CUT TO:

Jackson is in the bathroom, staring at himself in the mirror,

reflecting. He splashes water on his face and then wipes down
with a towel.

CUT TO:

6 EXT. JOHNSONVILLE. DAY

Jackson (fearful) approaches Sophie pacefully, who is waiting

for him

JACKSON
We're breaking up, please don't talk
to me again. We just can't be
together. I'm sorry.

SOPHIE
I know. She was at my house as well.

Sophie reveals a scratch on her arm

JACKSON
This is all my fault. I should've
known she'd act like this. I've heard
all these crazy rumours about her and
she said they were fake.

SOPHIE
Don't. How could you know if she was
lying? It's okay. Bye Jackson.

JACKSON
Bye Sophie.

Sophie turns and walks off into the distance. Jackson stands
there motionless, staring in her direction. He eventually
turns and sees Kasey from a distance, staring intently at
him. Jackson runs off.

CUT TO:

7 INT. ANU'S HOUSE. DAY

Jackson is waiting impatiently by the door. He stares through

the keyhole and finds that Daniel has arrived. He opens the
door

DANIEL
Jackson, you've been blowing up my
phone with messages, what's up?

JACKSON
It's Kasey bro, she's crazy, you have
no idea. She was in my bathroom last
night stalking me. She told me if I
told anyone she'd kill me.

DANIEL
Hold up, listen to yourself. You are
making very serious accusations that
sound untrue. Are you on drugs or
something?

JACKSON
I'm serious. Please believe me. You've
heard the rumours. She says they are
fake but they are true.

Daniel thinks to himself, then sighs.

DANIEL
Alright, I believe you. Do you wanna
take a walk and you can explain it to
me. She always gave me an off feeling.

CUT TO:

8 EXT. WOODRIDGE STREET. DAY

DANIEL
Wow bro, that's crazy, I had no idea.

JACKSON
What should we do?

DANIEL
Nothing. Leave it. Move on and forget
about it. You don't want to mess with
her. You heard how she burnt down her
ex-best friend's house, or how she
stole and crashed her parent's car.

JACKSON
Yeah, true. I want her gone, I feel
like she's always watching me and I
hate it.

DANIEL
If she gives you trouble again, call
me or call the cops. But there's
nothing we can do. Just stay out of
her way.

JACKSON
Ok. Alright I got to go back home man
and do some stuff

DANIEL
Okay, see you later and stay safe.

Jackson walks off in the direction of his house.

9 EXT. WOODRIDGE HILL. NIGHT

We see Anu, Daniel and Jackson sitting on the hill again

Damn, that's a scary story. Have you
ever heard from her again

JACKSON
Apparently she moved away a few months
after I broke up with her. But I
always feel like she's watching me.
Even now, I feel like she's hiding in
the dark somewhere.

DANIEL
She traumatised you bro, but you gotta
let go of the past. She's gone for
good. Remember that.

The three get up and walk away together. However behind them,
in the distance, is Kasey, staring at them.
