Auxiliary Fees- Individual courses may also have auxiliary, and/or, distance fees in addition to course tuition, not included in estimates above. Co-op fees vary by programme.
Distance Fees- In addition to tuition and auxiliary fees, students studying off-campus may have additional distance fees related to off-campus instruction.
NS Student Bursary- Nova Scotian students may be eligible for the Nova Scotia Student Bursary up to $1,283/year
Health Plans-
All Full-Time Students Are provided with DSU Health and Dental Plans each September for $464. Part-time students (or begin in another term) may be able to opt-in directly through DSU Health.
Students with proof of sufficient, comparable coverage may apply to opt-out at www.dalonline.dal.ca no later than September 18, 2019.
Proof of coverage is required for each academic year.
International Students Are also provided with a basic health insurance plan each year. For those who start in other terms, a propoprtional rate is charged for the remainder of the policy year.
International students with proof of sufficient coverage may apply to the DSU Health Plan Office, in person, no later than September 18, 2019 for
reimbursement. Proof of coverage is required for each academic year.

International Student Society Fee -All International Students are assessed an International Society Fee, $5 per term.

Notes:
(1) For Other MD/MSc degrees, fees are determined by your studies in the current year. (Medicine - please refer to Medicine and Dentistry Fee Schedule, MSc or PhD see Graduate fees).
(2) Students paying programme fees will be required to pay fees three times per academic year, unless otherwise noted.
(3) No fees payable in Summer Term, but registration is required.
(4) $150 auxiliary fee is charged in the Fall Term of each year.
(5) $400 tool kit fee is charged in the Fall Term of the first year of study only.
(6) MBA Corp students are eligible for full tuition refund when registration is cancelled before classes begin. For withdrawals before July 31, a partial refund of $4,570 may apply. No refunds after July 31.
(7) MPA students registered in courses for the Professional Development Certificate Programme will pay an additional $375 per term
(8) Co-op Students in Science, Engineering and Architecture pay $500 co-op fee in the adademic term prior to each placement.
