Settings of MKAD for Windows

on Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10

1. If the computers are on a domain or are working with a user with limited rights, it is
necessary to temporarily make the user who will work as a local administrator, and after the
installation and settings, his administrative rights will be revoked.

2. Fix the rights of the directors full control for all users folder

c:\program files(x86)\kolma
c:\program files(x86)\common files\bde shared
3. The two BDE engine config files are then fixed . You start BDE Administrator as an
administrator and edit the two configuration files ( c:\program files (x86)\common files\bde
shared\idapi32.cfg and c:\program files (x86)\kolma\mkadwin\bin\mkadwinbde.cfg) as
shown on the images
You save the configuration files.
4. If you have given administrative rights to the user you can get them.
