Step 1:

Go to:

(for PC Steam users)

Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Football Manager 2023\data\database\db\
2300
AND
Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Football Manager 2023\data\database\db\
2330
AND
Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Football Manager 2023\data\database\db\
2340

[\Program Files (x86)\ could be \Program Files\ depending on your set up.]

(for PC Epic Games users)

Program Files\Epic Games\FootballManager2023\data\database\db\2300
AND
Program Files\Epic Games\FootballManager2023\data\database\db\2330
AND
Program Files\Epic Games\FootballManager2023\data\database\db\2340

(for Mac users)

USERNAME \ Library \ Application Support \ Steam \ SteamApps \ Common \ Football
Manager 2023 \ Data \ db \ 2300
AND
USERNAME \ Library \ Application Support \ Steam \ SteamApps \ Common \ Football
Manager 2023 \ Data \ db \ 2330
AND
USERNAME \ Library \ Application Support \ Steam \ SteamApps \ Common \ Football
Manager 2023 \ Data \ db \ 2340

The easiest way to get to these folders is by going to Finder > Go > Go to Folder
and copy and paste the below exact path and you will be taken to the right place
~/Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/Football Manager
2023/data/database/db/2300/
AND
~/Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/Football Manager
2023/data/database/db/2330/
AND
~/Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/Football Manager
2023/data/database/db/2340/

(Mac Lion users)

use the above path, but the Library folder will be hidden. Use this link to learn
how to display it: http://osxdaily.com/2011/07/04/show-library-directory-in-mac-os-
x-lion/
Step 2:

Delete the dbc, edt and lnc folders from the folders above, but leave the 23xx_fm
folder alone. I repeat, you must DELETE the dbc, edt and lnc folders.
Replacing/merging won't see all the changes implemented

Step 3:

Copy the dbc, edt and lnc folders from this download into the folders mentioned in
step 1.

Step 4:

Go to:
(on PCs)
Documents \ Sports Interactive \ Football Manager 2023 (or your user data folder if
you have changed the path)

(on Macs)
Users/YOUR Mac USERNAME/Library/Application Support/Sports Interactive

By default this folder is hidden, so to access you need to do as follows:

Open Finder
Click ‘Go’ from the menubar
Press and hold down the ‘Option’ (Alt) key
This will bring up the ‘Library’, click to enter then go to ‘Application Support’ -
> ‘Sports Interactive’ -> ‘Football Manager 2023'

Step 5:

Open the folder named "editor data" contained therein.

Step 6:

Keeping the folder in step 5 open, go back to the file you downloaded and copy the
9 files included within the editor data folder.
Step 7:

Paste these 9 files into the folder mentioned in step 5. Accept any overwrite
prompts. If done correctly, the path and files should look like this:
https://imgur.com/a/Pev1ek1

To make sure the files have been applied correctly, go to the English Premier
Division in your saved game, and it should be renamed to Premier League. If you are
in the middle of a save-game, German and Japanese national teams will be populated
in the next instance that players are called up, and NOT instantly.
