Losartan

- Angiotensin receptor blockers (ARBs)

- Angiotensin = hormone that causes vasoconstriction and an increase in BP.


- Treat hypertension

Atenolol/ Bisoprolol/ Metoprolol/ Carvedilol


- Beta blockers
- Treat hypertension
- Blocking the effects of the hormone adrenaline.

Perindopril
- ACE inhibitors
- Treat hypertension

Nifedipine
- Calcium channel blocker
- Relaxing heart muscles.

Statin
- HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor
- Block the action of the liver enzyme that produces cholesterol
- Prevent heart attacks and stroke.

Metformin & Glicazide


- T2DM

Allopurinol
- Reduces the production of uric acid in your body.
- Treat gout (blood)/ kidney stone (kidney)

Prednisolone, Dexamethasone
- Corticosteroids
- Decreases immune system response to various diseases:
To reduce symptoms such as pain, swelling & allergic-type reactions (severe).
- Take OD in the morning (after food):
Common side effects = insomnia, weight gain, indigestion & excessive sweating
Fluticasone 
- Corticosteroids
- Relieve symptoms of rhinitis: sneezing/ runny, stuffy, or
itchy nose/ itchy watery eyes caused by hay fever or other allergies
- Not for common cold.
- Spray once or twice in each nostril twice daily.

Montelukast
- leukotriene receptor antagonists.
- Asthma, allergies,  exercise-induced bronchoconstriction (EIB)
- LRA decreases inflammation and nasal congestion:
prevents reactions to triggers by keeping the airways to your lungs open.

Caffox
- Caffeine - vasoconstriction
- Ergotamine - narrowing the blood vessels around the brain
- Treat migraine
- Do not take if high BP, CAD, Liver/ kidney diseases

Prochlorperazine 
- Relieve severe nausea and vomiting associated with vertigo.
