1. SERVICE PRECAUTIONS
Please ask your customers bringing all of AV Speaker Bar, Wireless Subwoofer and A
Remote Controller when bringing in the product for repair since total system
operation check is required even if partial failure is suspected.
(The Remote Controller is used at manipulation for operation check and at service
mode but bringing-in the Remote Controller is not required if the service center has
the similar Remote Controller.)
• For environmental protection, lead-free solder is used on the printed circuit boards mounted in this unit.
Be sure to use lead-free solder and a soldering iron that can meet specifications for use with lead-free solders for repairs
accompanied by reworking of soldering.
• Compared with conventional eutectic solders, lead-free solders have higher melting points, by approximately 40 ºC.
Therefore, for lead-free soldering, the tip temperature of a soldering iron must be set to around 373 ºC in general, although
the temperature depends on the heat capacity of the PC board on which reworking is required and the weight of the tip of
the soldering iron.

Location where air leakage is easily happened due to wire biting, etc.
D
If there is any imperfect screw tightening, forgetting screw tightening, etc., wind noise may be generated from screw
holes as shown on the figure below;
If air leakage is terrible, wind noise (hissing sound) is heard.
If abnormal sound is heard, apply retightening on screws at corresponding location and adjust mounting.
All screw holes from where screws are removed at Rear Case disassembling:
Air leaks due to imperfect screw tightening, etc.
E
Location where air leakage is easily happened due to wire or
Seal (felt) biting, etc.
Complement
If abnormal noise generated location is unable to specify with the previous confirmation, please check the around of Subwoofer Unit.
Caution is considered to be loose screws of Subwoofer Unit, Grille or everted of EVA Sheet.
(Periphery of Subwoofer is the location hard to specify air leakage due to abnormal noise or air flow.)
