1. Death penalty - He asks Congress to bring back the death penalty for heinous
crimes related to drugs and plunder. Definitely this affects the development of a country itself, simply because it gives security to the people that lives within the country against crimes and other illegal activities that violates the Philippine Criminal Law. It degrades the crime rate of the country which gives the Filipinos a comfortable living in the country itself. Another thing, it will also encourage the tourist to visit the country that may also affect the currency of the Peso through trade foreign currency. Since developed country offers an economic security which also includes physical security that protects people and property from physical harm such as justice system that protects people from crimes. 2. Corruption - Duterte condemns the PhilHealth ghost kidney treatment scam, commends the National Bureau of Investigation for the arrest of high-profile criminals, and recalls how he has fired "more than a hundred" government officials. He cites revenue collections by government corporations as signs that anti-corruption reforms are working. It is somehow quite obvious that if a country suffer from a high level of corruption that slows their overall development. The entire society is affected as a result of the inefficient allocation of resources, the presence of a shadow economy, and low-quality education and healthcare. That is definitely against with the economic securities that a developed country must have. But at some point, the corruption became minimal as compared before. 3. Anti-red tape - He tells the Land Transportation Office, Social Security System, Bureau of Internal Revenue, Land Registration Authority, and Pag-IBIG to improve their services as data from the complaint center under his office show they were the subject of many complaints. He wants processing of permits to last only 3 days. This gives us an easy way access to the public services offered. These provisions essential public services affects the development of the Philippines not just through the Public Services but also by giving the people within the country a Quality of Life that will definitely give them happiness and comfortable living. 4. Telecommunications - Duterte speaks about Dito Telecommunity, the newly established third-telecommunications provider in the Philippines. He challenges them to render services to as many Filipinos as possible. He also promises no corruption was involved in Dito Telecommunity's entry into the sector. As most Filipinos demand for a faster telecommunication provider, it will serve as the biggest rival for the current telecommunication provider that will definitely makes a big competition through its prices and it will force them to improve their own providers that will satisfy the Filipinos demand. Not just through its quality but also through its cost. 5. Bangsamoro Organic Law – The President tells the Bangsamoro government to fast-track the development of the region and improve the quality of life of Muslims and indigenous peoples. It is another way of ‘peace talk’ within the country, as compared before Muslims had a lack of connection in the government. The President itself shows that he was not serving for a specific region but also for the whole country itself which also unite the people that lives in one country, they may have a different dialects, norms, customs or traditions but through this… it may unite the whole country.
