між учнями; розвивати творчі здібності учнів; збагачувати їхній емоційно-
естетичний досвід; виховувати духовність, мистецькі смаки, збуджувати інтерес
до самопізнання та самовдосконалення в галузі мистецтв, а також бажання
відвідувати театральні вистави.

A HOUSE IN THE WOOD

(knock, knock, knock)
Frog: Who lives in this house? Oh, I see nobody in this house. Then I’ll live here.
(knock, knock, knock)
Mouse: Who lives in this house?
Frog: I do. I am a frog and I live in this house. And who are you?
Mouse: I am a mouse. May I live in your house?
Frog: Yes, you may. Come in, please!
(knock, knock, knock)
Hare: Who lives in this house?
Mouse and Frog: We do. We live in this house.
Frog: I am a frog.
Mouse: And I am a mouse.
Mouse and Frog: And who are you? Tell us, please.
Hare: I am a hare. May I live with you?
Mouse and Frog: Yes, you may. Come in, please!
Frog: I am a frog, frog, frog!
Hare: I am a hare, hare, hare!
Mouse: I am a mouse, mouse, mouse! I live in this house!
Mouse, Hare and Frog: We live in this house, house, house!
(knock, knock, knock)
Fox: Who lives in this house?
Mouse, Hare and Frog: We do. I am a mouse. I am a hare. I am a frog.
Mouse, Hare and Frog: And who are you?
Fox: I am a fox. May I live with you?
Mouse, Hare and Frog: Are you bad or good? Do you want to eat us up or not? Tell
us, please.
Fox: Oh no, I am a good fox. I eat only sour cream.
Mouse, Hare and Frog: Don’t lie to us, don’t lie, don’t lie. Go away!

A GOAT AND SEVEN KIDS

Scene I
(Mother Goat and her kids are around her)
Mother-Goat: Dear children, I must go to the market
to buy some fruit for you. Don’t open the door to
anybody. Good-bye. Close the door.
(The Wolf comes up to the goat’s house).
Wolf: Open the door! It’s me, your mother.
Kids: No, you are not our mother. Our mother’s voice
is soft. Our mother’s voice is sweet. Our mother’s
voice is nice. We must not open the door to anybody.
Wolf: You are silly kids. (Goes away).
Scene II
(The Wolf comes up to the Goat’s house again, knocking at the door, speaking in a soft
voice).
Wolf: Open the door, my dear children! It’s me, your mother. I have some sweets for
you.
Kids: No! No! Your voice is soft, but it is not our mother’s.
Wolf: But don’t you want those nice sweets?
Kids: We don’t want any sweets from you.
Wolf: And I have got some nice toys for you.
Kids: We don’t want any toys from you.
Wolf: Open the door or I will break it down!
Kids: No! Go away! You are a very bad wolf.
(The wolf goes away).
Scene III
(The Wolf comes up to the door).
Kids: Do you hear? Somebody is at the door?
Wolf: Do you give up?
Kids: No! No!
Wolf: Then I will break down the door.
Kids: We are not around of you.
Wolf: Do you give up? One!
Do you give up? Two!
Do you give up? Three! (The wolf breaks the door down and rushes into the room. The
fight begins. Five kids are fighting with him, with the help of sticks. Two kids are
making terrible noise with the help of two pans and spoons. The wolf is frightened. He
runs away).
Scene IV
(Mother comes in).
Mother: What’s the matter? What has happened?
Kids: Oh, mother dear! The wolf wanted to eat us.
Mother: My dear children! I am very happy that you are such brave, strong kids. (She
kisses them and gives them the fruit)
THE THREE LITTLE PIGS
Scene I
Naff-Naff: І am clever and quick, I am so nice pig!
Niff-Niff and Nuff-Nuff: We are not bad,
We are not sad,
We dance all day,
And like to play!
Niff-Niff, Naff-Naff and Nuff-Nuff: These are our houses!
Niff-Niff: My house is of grass!
Nuff-Nuff: My house is of sticks!
Naff-Naff: My house is of bricks!
Scene II

Big Bad Wolf: I am so hungry!

Від Bad Wolf (підходить до будинку з трави). Let me in! (Дмухає на будинок.)
Niff-Niff: Go away, Big Bad Wolf, go away!
Big Bad Wo1f дмухає сильніше й сильніше, будинок падає. Niff-Niff біжить до
будинку Nuff-Nuff.
Big Bad Wo1f теж іде туди.
Від Bad Wolf: Let me in! (Стукає no будинку.)
Niff-Niff: Go away, Big Bad Wolf, go away!
Big Bad Wo1f стукає сильніше й сильніше, будинок падає.
Nuff-Nuff і Niff-Niff біжать до будинку Naff-Naff.
Big Bad Wo1f теж іде туди.
Naff-Naff: Quiet! My house is strong!
Scene III

Big Bad Wolf: (жалібно) I'm a poor sheep! Please, let me in.

Naff-Naff: You are not a sheep, you are Big Bad Wolf. Go away! (Показує
рушницю.)
Віg Bad Wolf: What? A gun? Oh, I must run! (Тікає.)
Nuff-Nuff, Naff-Naff і Niff-Niff виходять із будинку.
Niff-Niff, Nuff-N uff and Naff-Naff (sing a song)
We are not afraid of Wolf,
Big Bad Wolf, Big Bad Wolf.
We are not afraid of Wolf,
Big Bad Wolf has gone!
 “TURNIP”
Grandpa: I think I'll plant a turnip.
Granny: Good idea.
(Бабка подає діду лопату. Дід саджає насіння та
йде.)
(З’являються дід и онучка. Дід несе лійку.)
Grandpa: Now it's time to water the turnip.
Granddaughter: I'll help you, grandpa.
Grandpa: Thank you.
(Дід передає лійку онучці, вона "поливає" місце посадки ріпки.) Grandpa: Now
the turnip is big. It's time to pull it out. (Дід береться за ріпку та намагається
витягти) One, two, three… Oh, the turnip is too big! (Дід відпускає ріпку, витирає
піт з чола) I'll call the granny. …Granny! Come here! Granny: Can I help you?
Grandpa: Yes, please! Let's pull the turnip out!
Granny: All right!
Both: One, two, three…
Granny: Oh, the turnip is too big! I'll call the granddaughter. …Granddaughter! Come
here!
Granddaughter: Can I help you?
Granny: Yes, please! Let's pull the turnip out!
Granddaughter: All right!
All: One, two, three…
Granddaughter: Oh, the turnip is too big! I'll call the dog. …Dog! Come here!
Dog: Can I help you?
Granddaughter: Yes, please! Let's pull the turnip out!
Dog: All right!
All: One, two, three…
Dog: Oh, the turnip is too big! I'll call the cat. … Cat! Come here!
Cat: Can I help you?
Dog: Yes, please! Let's pull the turnip out!
Cat: All right!
All: One, two, three…
Cat: Oh, the turnip is too big! I'll call the mouse. … Mouse! Come here!
Mouse: Can I help you?
Cat: Yes, please! Let's pull the turnip out!
Mouse: All right!
All: One, two, three!...Hurray! We have pulled the turnip out!
