Immigration

• All Non-US Cast Members must be here on B1 Status.

• Please always know the exit date of your immigration status and if needed reach out to the office staff one week
prior to the expiration date. (Please keep valuable documents such as your passports etc. safe)
• When going through immigration please open your passport to the B1 visa page and insert your B1 letter. Please
hand these documents only to the immigration officer.
• Only hand over your Letter of Employment and/or contract if asked, as these documents show why you require a C1/D visa

• Please state that you are entering the United States for UNPAID TRAINING and need to be entered in on your B1
visa
• BEFORE you leave the immigration booth confirm that you have been entered on a B1 status in your passport. The
system is now digital, but if your passport was physically stamped with a C1 or a status other than a B1 please ask
nicely to have this altered as you are coming in for training and require to be stamped in on your B1 visa. You can
also state that you are not receiving salary while in the United States.
• CANADIANS: Please state that you are entering the United States for TRAINING and need to be entered in on a B1
Status or the Visa Waiver Program for Business. If asked please show the rehearsals dates in your contract. BEFORE
you leave the immigration checkpoint confirm that you have received the correct entry (usually marked as B1, WB
or Parole).
• ALL: If you still receive the incorrect immigration status at the immigration booth after following the steps above
please do not argue. Once in at the studio facility, we will review your entry status and submit any corrections if
necessary.
