Presentation
There are a number of ways of presenting the information recorded in the
inventory, these include:
•List (e.g. paper, spreadsheet, database)
•Schematic map or diagram (e.g. GIS system)
•Strip maps (e.g. spreadsheet, database, GIS etc)
•Card index systems
The most appropriate method depends on the asset being shown. For example
strip maps are particularly useful for linear assets such as roads, canals and
railways.
