their operations from their sites. In
order to take decision about
resuming our operations from office
HR department conducted a survey
of 126 employees”.

 According to the survey only 23% employees can easily resume their tasks from office while for 26%
of our employees neither it will be easy nor it will be difficult. The results of the survey clearly state
that it will be difficult for our 50% our employees to resume their jobs from office. The major
difficulties for our employees are:
 Transport Issue
 Family Concerns
 Accommodation Issue (In Lahore)
 Can’t Travel From Their Hometown To Lahore

Mode of transport use by our employees

According to the results of survey 62% our employees possess their own transport either in form of
bike or car while 38% of our employees don’t possess their own transport and they use public

 transport or Careem, Uber for commutation. In order to resume office, we have to provide transport
to these employees otherwise it will not be possible them to resume their work from office.

According the survey 68% of the respondents are currently in Lahore while 32% of our employees
are not in Lahore and are in their hometowns. In the situation of lockdown, it will be difficult for
them to travel from their home towns to Lahore.

 Type of accommodation in Lahore
According to survey 70% of respondents has accommodation in homes while 22% are staying in
hostels. 8% of the respondents are using flats and other types of accommodation. In current
situation of lockdown majority of the hostels are closed and if we will resume our operations from
office site it will be difficult for some of our employees (20-30%)

 Recommendations and Conclusion
 Currently it not possible for all of our employees to start their operations from
office.
 The major problem for employees is unavailability of public transport and
Safety Concerns (Health Prospective)
 We can start our operations from office sites after the restoration of transport
services
 Currently we can also go for hybrid mode of work by giving our employees
both choices.
