Play the Game!
Have students work in groups of four. Each student gets a
different dice (body, head, scarf & hat). Starting with the student
who has the body, roll the dice to produce one of six possible
bodies. Whatever they roll is what they all draw. After all four
players have drawn the body, have the next player roll the
head/face, everyone draws whatever is rolled. Repeat this
process for the scarf and then finally the hat. Once a snowman
is complete have students start over and create another
snowman. Depending on the size of the paper and how large
students draw their snowmen have them create 3-5 different
drawings of snowmen. Once all the snowmen are drawn have
students create a background, outline their snowmen in
markers and then color them in with the medium of your choice.

Variation
There are so many variations you could think of for this game.
However, here is one really easy example of a way you could
change from the typical drawing on white paper. Instead give
students a blue or purple piece of construction paper and white
colored pencils or crayons and have them draw their snowmen
this way. It produces a nice effect and is a very way to change
things up a bit! Play with the size of the paper as well.

In this example this piece of paper is 6” x 12”
