ELA: Parts of Speech Coloring Page

Instructions
For this parts of speech coloring activity you will have 2 pages. The first
page will have a variety of sentences with a part of speech underlined. The
second page will be a coloring page that you will color using your answers
from page 1 and the color key on page 2.

Your job is to identify the part of speech of the underlined word in each
sentence.  Circle each of your answers.  Then use your answer to refer to the
color grid on the coloring page.

Match your answer from page 1 with the correct color in the color key on
the top of page 2. Find the sentence number you are working on in the
coloring page and color all the spaces the color you just decoded from your
answer on page 1 and the color key on page 2.

For example, if the answer to number 1 is "noun," you would color all the
“1’s” on the coloring page red.  If the answer for number 2 is “adjective,”
you would color all the “2’s” on the coloring page green.

Continue until you get through all the sentences on page 1 and have colored
all of the spaces on page 2.
