Rainbow after a Storm

Prologue:

“I thought I’d gotten over you until I had a dream about you. It was nice but it
made me sad because the feelings came back but you didn’t.”

Leila is a strong woman or…maybe that’s what everyone sees. Her college life is
going smoothly until he came. A man she never expects. A man who could turn the
situation upside down. But in this cruel world, having a soft heart is strength not a
weakness and that what saves her from the pit of hell.

“Miss Lei, what happened to us? What happened to you?”

“Nothing happened, Erick. Feelings are just visitors, you know. Let them come
and go. At first I thought that I couldn’t live without you but now I’m doing just fine even
without you.”

Description:
“Don’t depend too much on anyone in this world because even your shadow
leaves you when you are in darkness.”
That’s what Leila told herself after series of unfortunate events stumbled upon
her life.
She thought that her life is just like those typical college students. Studies,
studies and studies. Or maybe a little flirting or relationship to spice your trip. But never
did she expect that fate will play with her. The world is a jungle…You either fights and
dominate or hide and evaporate.

A not so cliché story but will touch your heart. Happy Reading!!!

Chapter 1:

“So why do people tend to get hurt when it comes to loving?”

“Ma’am loving is a give and take situation. In love, you can’t feel happiness if you
can’t experience pain. Or maybe because you lack logic for example holding unto
someone who cannot love you back.”

“No I beg to disagree. It is called loyalty. That is the price we pay for loving
someone.”
“Whatever. It is not called loyalty. It is called stupidity. We have to hurt in order to
know, fail in order to grow, lose in order to gain, because all of life’s lessons are taught
through pain.”

“But why is that there is people who broke up but end up being together or just a
friend?”

“Well it depends on the situation. In a relationship, you should have faith and
trust for your love to work. If it is lacking, it better off cutting the ties. If you fail to do so
remember this, a breakup is like a broken mirror. It is better to leave it broken than to
hurt yourself trying to put it back together.”

nagmamahal, iyon yung komplikado.

“Respect yourself enough to walk away from anything that no longer serves you,
grows you, or makes you happy.
kinakailangan ng dalawang pusong nagmamahalan for the relationship to work. Pero at
the end of the day, it is up to these two complicated people to talk and settle things.”

Love is a logical thing so it is easy to deal with. Feelings daw iyan na kinokontrol ng tao
kung kaya’t it is up the person to decide.

“Uy girl, galing ng answer mo ha. Believe talaga ako sayo. No wonder you are or
Time na oh. Punta na tayo sa cafeteria. Hindi ako nakapag-
breakfast.”
