DAILY WORK DONE (Electrical)

1-10-2019

 Daily round and routine mantainence work carried out.


 Aux Boiler # 1 F.D fan flaps zero adjustment carried out.
 Aux Boiler #1 HE plug wire was found faulty which was changed (spare consumed) and
boiler was working satisfactory.
 Aux Boiler # 1 HMI Monitor Setting was changed to adjust smoke density.
 Engine room, radio room and Navigation bridge locker two in number tube lights
changed along with starter (total 6).

 Daily round and routine mantainence work carried out.


 3 new hand lamps were made for Engine room (100 watt bulbs).
 Bottom Platform 10 NOS tube lights changed along with holders and starters (total 6).
 Stand by attended for arrival at Das Island SPM.

 Daily round and routine mantainence work carried out.


 Stand by attended for departure from Das Island SPM.
 M/E Start Air valve was malfunctioning.
 M/E Starting air 4 way pneumatic valve (no 27) was overhauled.
 M/E Ahead and Astern 3 way pneumatic valves (no 10& 11) were overhauled. Repair
kits consumed NOS 2.

 Daily round and routine mantainence work carried out.


 Aux Boiler #1 F.D Fan flaps were found dirty which were cleaned. After work Boiler
was fired and Flaps were found working smoothly and satisfactory.
 Foam room 3 in NOS tube lights changed along with holders and Starters.
 Ship office 4 in NOS tube light changed along with holders and Starters.
 COP platform 3 in NOS tube light changed along with holders and Starters.
 AC room 3 NOS tube light changed along with holders and Starters.
 I.G system routine carried out, sample line filters changed and line blow through with
clean air.

 Daily round and routine mantainence work carried out.


 Aux Boiler routine mantainence carried out; both igniter service and flame eye cleaned
also both boilers smoke lenses were cleaned.
 O2 analyzer was calibrated.
 Ac room tube light was not working properly when checked its ballast chock wiring was
found faulty new wiring was installed, found working satisfactory.
 A/E platform tube light was not working when checked, its supply wiring terminal were
found broken new terminals were installed, found working satisfactory.

 Daily round and routine mantainence work carried out.


 Main Air compressor#1 start and stop settings were adjusted from pressure switch.
 ECR GSP#1 and 2 were cleaned.
 Work on UTI wiring.
 Stand by attended for arrival at Karachi anchor.

7-10-2019

 Daily round and routine mantainence work carried out.


 Ship office and Officer Mess room 5 in numbers tube light changed along with starter
(total 10).
 M/E jacket water and exh gas Temperature sensor wirings and wiring stand were found
loosen, which were tight.

 Stand by attended for arrival at Karachi OP-1.
 Work on M/E viscotherm.
9-10-2019

 Daily round and routine mantainence work carried out.


 Assist in cargo operation.
 Atm condenser and A/E#2 platform tube lights (2 NOS) changed along with both holders
and starters.

 Assist in cargo operation.
 Stand by attended for departure from Karachi port.

 Daily round and routine mantainence work carried out.


 ECR AC Condenser and evaporator cleaned and routine maintenance carried out.
 Work on Galley meat chopper machine electrical starter panel (work in progress).

 Daily round and routine mantainence work carried out.


 Saturday routine carried; all alarms as per PMS checked found working satisfactory.
 Work on Galley meat chopper machine electrical starter panel (work in progress).
 W.B.T 5(P) Level gauge was found faulty after repair working Ok.
 Pump room Prt/Stbd bilge alarm checked. Port side was not received after checking
found working satisfactory after repair.
 Pump room 4 in NOS tube lights changed.

13-10-2019

 Daily round and routine mantainence work carried out.


 Galley meat chopper electrical panel was installed in galley; power wiring and motor
wirings were fitted in the panel (work in progress).
 LAN switch was installed at radio room for IP-Phone and Business LAN.
 Hydraulic room two in number tube lights changed along with starters.
 Stand by attended for arrival at Das island.

14-10-2019

 Daily round and routine mantainence work carried out.


 Meat chopper electrical starter panel control wiring was given from a separate ON/OFF
receptacle. After final work chopper was tested and found working satisfactory.
 Generator, Main Engine and Main Air compressor platform 6 in number tube lights
changed along with both holders and starters; also dirty covers were cleaned.
 Stand by attended for departure from DAS Island.

15-10-2019

 Daily round and routine mantainence work carried out.


 E/R one in number tube light changed along with starter.
 Wi-Fi Router as a Repeater was installed at B-deck.
 Stand by attended for arrival at Fujairah Anchor.

16-10-2019

 Daily round and routine mantainence work carried out.


 Astern Navigation light lamp changed.
 Stb Navigation Light cover was found broken which was repaired and lamp changed.
 Stand by attended for departure from Fujairah Anchor.

17-10-2019

 Daily round and routine mantainence work carried out.


 Drinking water starter circuit was found with abnormal sound; when checked its contacts
were found faulty. Contactor (SN-12) fixed and moveable contacts were renewed.
 Electric power source extension was made; male (marine type- 2NOS) and female (1
NOS) receptacles was installed.
 Engine room workshop receptacle male port was found broken and found un-repairable
hence replaced by new one, found working satisfactory.
 Work on Doppler speed log power source (work in progress).
 VSAT Wi-Fi Router was installed at D-deck.
 Work on MGPS flow meter.
18-10-2019

 Daily round and routine mantainence work carried out.


 Aux Boilers routine carried out, both boilers pilot burner igniters and both flame eyes
were serviced. All smoke lenses were cleaned. After service work boilers were found
working satisfactory.
 I.G System routine mantainence carried out. Sample line filters changed and sample line
cleaned with air. O2 analyzer was also calibrated.
 Vacuum condenser platform tube light internal and source wiring was found faulty. All
Wiring was repaired in workshop, new holders, starters and tube light changed; found
working satisfactory.
 Doppler speed log power source was given from a separate breaker from EL panel at
navigation locker.
 Cascade tank one in number tube light changed along with holders and starter.
 Stand by attended for arrival at Karachi anchor.

19-10-2019

 Daily round and routine mantainence work carried out.


 Saturday routine carried out. All safeties and emergency checked.
 GDS P/R and WBT all alarms checked found satisfactory.
 Generator, COP, M/E platform, Hydraulic room and upper deck tube lights (10 NOS)
changed along with holders (6 NOS) and starters (6 NOS).

 Daily round and routine mantainence work carried out.


 Purifier platform 6 NOS tube lights changed along with holders (6) and starters (3).
 Steering gear room 3 NOS tube lights changed along with holders (2) and starters (1).
 COP Platform 6 NOS tube lights changed along with holders (6) and starters (2).
 M/E platform 6 NOS tube lights along with holders (6) and starters (4).
 Work on Gas detection System (GDS) Vapor manifold O2 sensor.
 Aux Engine#3 Tachometer found faulty which was replaced with spare one.
21-10-2019

 Daily round and routine mantainence work carried out..


 Emergency maneuvering attended.
 OMD alarm tested.
 Work on GDS System.

22-10-2019

 Daily round and routine mantainence work carried out.


 Emergency generator on load test carried out.
 Emergency Steering try out carried out.
 Steering gear entrance 2 NOS tube lights changed.
 Steering gear alarm tested working satisfactory.
 L.O purifier#2 motor terminal wiring was found lose which was tight and putty was
placed.
 Work on Emergency generator hydraulic starting system.
 IG and COPT alarms checked found working satisfactory.
 Stand by attended for arrival at Karachi port.

23-10-2019

 Daily round and routine mantainence work carried out.


 Assist in cargo operation.
 PC system was installed at radio room.

24-10-2019

 Daily round and routine mantainence work carried out.


 Officer’s mess and CCR one in number tube lights changed.
 F.O, D.O and L.O Trans P/P meager was taken found satisfactory.
 Stand by attended for departure from Karachi OP-1.

25-10-2019

 Daily round and routine mantainence work carried out.


 COPT platform two in number tube lights change along with holders and starters.
 VSAT Wi-Fi router installed at B-Deck.
 Cargo tank high level and overfill alarms checked found working satisfactory.

26-10-2019

 Daily round and routine mantainence work carried out.


 Saturday Routine carried as per PMS system. All emergency, trips and alarms checked
found satisfactory.
 Fixed GDS System V/M sensor calibrated and alarm checked found working satisfactory.
 H2S and HC alarms for P/R checked found working satisfactory.
 P/R and forward store bilges alarms checked found working satisfactory.
 OWS alarm checked found working satisfactory.
 I.G and Economizer platform 8 in number tube lights changed along with holders and
starters (2) and all light covers cleaned and one replaced with new cover.
 A-Deck galley store switch button changed.

27-10-2019

 Daily round and routine mantainence work carried out.


 Alpha lub platform tube light cover and one in number tube light changed.
 Ship office tube light cover, CCR and Mosque one in number tube light changed along
with starter.
 Galley Telephone receiver RJ45 type clip found broken which was causing noise in
communication. Clip was repaired and improvement found in communication.
 Alternator#2 all filters changed and cover cleaned also Space heater checked found
working satisfactory.
 Refer, Scrubber, Fire & GS and Fire bilge Ballast pump meager was taken found
Satisfactory.
 Stand by attended for arrival at DAS Island.

28-10-2019

 Daily round and routine mantainence work carried out.


 Stand by attended for departure from DAS Island.
 Work on Main Air compressor Start/Stop Pressure Switch.
 F.O, L.O and D.O Tran P/P Local Start Stop panel wiring was found loosen which was
tight accordingly.
 Boiler platform 100w flood light was found not working properly when checked its
AC/DC converter was found faulty which was replaced with new one; Light was found
working satisfactory.

29-10-2019

 Daily round and routine mantainence work carried out.


 Purifier room two in number and Alpha lube platform one in number tube lights changed.
 F.O purifier#1 Bowl opening, closing and Sealing water solenoid routine maintenance
carried out.
 Main Air compressor#2 starter panel routine maintenance carried out.
 Work on VoIP phone.
 Work on Level float switches for different cargo tanks (work in progress)

30-10-2019

 Daily round and routine mantainence work carried out.


 Mid-ship Star board side store bulb changed.
 Chief Officer Room and office 6 in number tube lights changed 4 along with starters.
 Aux Boiler#1 routine maintenance carried out; Pilot burner igniter serviced, all smoke
lenses cleaned.
 IG System routine maintenance carried out; Sample line filters changed and O 2 analyzer
calibrated.
 All cargo tanks and slope tanks High level and overfill alarms checked. Some cargo tanks
overfill not working satisfactory (work in progress).

31-10-2019

 Daily round and routine mantainence work carried out.


 Navigation Bridge Stairway 100w bulb changed.
 C-Deck and Navigation Bridge Outer pass 1 and 3 bulbs changed respectively, along with
broken cover replaced with new one.
 Accommodation AC R-22 gas charged.
 110/220v transformer was repaired.
 Main Air compressor#1 starter panel routine maintenance carried out.
 Ballast pump motor side greasing point nut was found broken which was replaced by new
one.
