Why not agree to pay?

For instance the Chiquita Banadex agree to pay the

AUC terrorist group for the protection of the company
and the employees from the undesirable harmful events,
Yes it would be good both to the company and the
workers. But, the company itself will ruin its image
because they’ll be involve in letting the AUC to grow
its forces for financing them and it might be, if the
AUC would grow its forces further it could be their way
for their worst terrorism act in the near future. Yes
we gain protection but the one that protecting us is a
threat to our company. They will be the cause of the
downfall of our income. Sooner or later the Chiquita
Company will be bankrupt because of the monthly income
that the terrorist wants. They will make the group of
terrorist stronger, that can possible cause a war. So
if we pay for protection not only the business who is
affected, not only the jobs, but also the life of all
the workers. Maybe they are only offering the
protection at first and after that they will take
control of the company as their own.

Why not to refuse to pay?

If we refuse to pay, there will be blood shed or a

lot of lives will be lost. There background is very
evil so refusing to pay is not an option. Life is
precious to be treated as nothing or waste, why not
live in peace or start a new beginning instead of
helping the evil get stronger and become the cause of
another war. If we refuse to pay, our employees have no
protection and their life will be in a risk situation.
It is possible for them to be kidnaped and killed. We
will not take the life of our employees in risk,
because their life is important, they are working to
have a salary and to survive. Our employees and workers
is one of the most important in our business that’s why
we should not let their lives put into danger.

Why exit the country?

I believe that life is precious and it is

priceless, there is nothing in this world that ever
existed which could trade to the human life. I’d rather
sacrifice the company and loss some money that to
sacrifice the life of my employee. We’ll exit the
country but we will not leave our employees without
anything, we will exit the country instead of paying
the terrorist for protection and refusing their offer
for brutality we’ll just exit. First, give our
employees some money in order for them to start a new
beginning rather than paying the terrorist or
sacrificing their precious lives. Yes, we know that it
can really affect the whole business organization and
for the jobs of our workers but, what we are thinking
here is the safety of every one’s life. Even their jobs
will be lost, but still there life will be safe, and we
can make any solution for this. Second, we can send
those 12000 workers to every branch around the world.
Profit can be recovered but not the life of our worker.
