different art forms have emerged in the Philippine
art scene.

Ethnic minorities used art as part of their:

1.daily activities
2.religious rituals and practices

POTTERY WEAVING CARVING


Pottery- one of the earliest art form used by early
Filipino people.

●Manunggal Jar- found in Palawan. Also called a


burial jar. It depicts two men rowing in a boat-- a
reflection of the belief in afterlife.

Pottery produced practical value such as:


1.Pots for cooking
2.Large vases for storing

●Naga- a mythical dragon or serpent
