D. Paragraph:

Boulevard des Capucines

The beauty of the work shows how the painter, Claude Monet,

can express his creativity through impressionism. The artist uses a

cold tone given by the rain that soaks the pedestrians is similar to the

icy atmosphere on the Boulevard des Capucines. The tall and dry

trees that adorn the promenade make it impossible to contemplate

the beautiful architectures of the bustling parisian boulevards, the

old lanterns and floats demonstrate the distinction of the time. The

brushstroke used is loose, with small commas that do not detail but

offer sensations. With quick and hard brush strokes, he organizes the

composition, abounding in the dark tones, which contrast with the

warm tones of the central area. Everything wrapped in a cold and

winter environment. Impressions of the city at a certain time of the

day. The work shows the atmosphere of the contemporary age.
