Shoot seven evaluation

Overall, this shoot was one of my favourites from the project, and one of the best
when looking at individual photographs. In my shoot plan I wrote that I wanted to
highlight an uncomfortable tone, which I think I did, as egg shells are uncomfortable
to look at anyway, so when I added the extra post production editing this tone was
definitely achieved. One of the best aspects of this shoot was my use of depth of
field, I used a range, the shallow ones when focused on the egg were the best in my
opinion, as it meant that the details of the eggshell were extremely clear, however
the images where I focused the camera on the egg box were also successful. An
eggshell also represents moments after a routine clearer than many shoots I have
done in the past, it puts the viewers in the position of Clare Gallagher, or the
individual who is looking at the egg shell, knowing they are having to clear up mess
that isn’t theirs. This shoot could have been better if I had experimented more with
editing the images to black and white, as I only did it with one of the photographs,
when I should have done a range
