Cross Docking: in Q system

Flow:

Scenario:

In Carlsberg the Cross Docking process is not a standard SAP Cross Docking process.

If there is urgent requirement for the material in bulk quantity, then materials which are produced
from the production lines such as 99P1 (Bottles) & 99p2 (creates) will not be stored in the Bulk storage
types such as 0040 or 0041 and picked from picking area. Instead the materials will be directly staged
in the staging area from the production lines using fork lift via Cross docking storage type 0049 which
is a logical storage type (not a real) which is required to track the material in the system.

To achieve this, Putway control indicator XDCK and the Picking control Indicator YPBU is used in the
Product Master i.e during such circumstances the material master indicator will be changed manually
and hence the process will be deviated from the regular inbound process from production.

Check the Product Master

Change the Putaway Control Indicator to XDCK
SPRO Settings:

Define Putaway Control Indicator

Define Storage Type Search Sequence for Putaway

Assign Storage Types to Storage Type Search Sequence

Specify Storage Type Search Sequence for Putaway

Now Create a Process Order in COR1

Process order 13000371 created

Note: There is no stock in 0049 for the product 10099.

Now Release the PO

Release carried out

Confirm the PO in CORK

Log on to /SCWM/PRDI - Maintain Inbound Delivery

Enter the production Order no & Execute

Note: In this case, no inbound delivery notification

Hence we need to pack from the Delivery screen
Now HU is appeared in delivery

Maintain Pallet Sequence table in SM31

Go to Monitor & Maintain Default Bin Proposal

Monitor
We got error: Already some other materials are there in X-DOCK bin and the system is unable to save
the entry

Try to create WT without maintaining the table

Check the Queue in Monitor
Check whether Queue is assigned to the Resource

Change the Queue

Log on to RF

/SCWM/RFUI - Log On to RF Environment

And Confirm the WO by using the Application ID in the verification field

For this go to SPRO and find out the APP ID which will be used as prefix
Now the WO got confirmed. Check the WO from Monitor

Check the Inbound Delivery in ECC

Check the Material Document

Now the Outbound Process:

Create a Sales Order: Standard Order 260006510 has been saved

This Sales Order will be blocked for the Credit Block.

We need to release it in VKM3

Create a Outbound delivery in VL01N and check the status and Distribute in VI06D.

Create shipment in VT01N with shipment type Z002.

This will be reflected as TU in EWM.

A Wave will be created in EWM automatically and Release the Wave in Monitor.

Once the Wave is released, WT & WO gets created and the source storage type will be 0049 ( not
Picking area 005X) and hence the picking is cross docked.
