Transmission Case

1. Disassembly
a. Remove the aluminum case material that was staked into the 3 slots on the top
of OE sleeve.
b. The OE sleeve can then be removed by using a slide hammer with a hook to grab the
sleeve, or weld a bolt, screw, etc., to the sleeve and then pull out sleeve with
slide hammer.

2. Installation & Assembly

a. Apply Loctite® to outer diameter of Sonnax sleeve.
NOTE: Follow Loctite® instructions to ensure circuits do not cross-leak behind sleeve.

b. Align the slots in Sonnax sleeve with holes in transmission case, then press sleeve into
the case until flush.
c. Restake Sonnax sleeve into the case using the three slots in sleeve.
