1. Disassembly
a. Remove and discard OE accumulator sleeve, plug, valve and spring from valve body.
b. Save OE roll pin for reuse.

2. Installation & Assembly

a. Lube all Sonnax parts.
b. Install Sonnax sleeve into bore until roll pin hole in sleeve and valve body lineup.
c. Reinstall OE roll pin just enough to prevent Sonnax sleeve from moving.
d. Select one of the three selecive Sonnax springs to obtain desired shift quality
(Figure 1), then install into Sonnax sleeve.

e. Install Sonnax accumulator valve into sleeve, oriented as shown (Figure 2).
f. Install Sonnax plug into sleeve until seated, with the recessed diameter facing out the back of the sleeve.
g. Push Sonnax entire assembly into valve bore just far enough to push OE roll pin all the way into place.
