(CASS) and Salt Spray Test for


Gardobond X 4707 A2

Background
• Cost efficiency from using Gardobond X 4707 A + E6 to using
Gardobond X 4707 A2, lesser materials used

• New technology, better performances


Test Criteria
The process for this sample are the following :
Loading --> Pre Treatment 1 --> Base Coating using Powder--> Intermediate Coating using Liquid --> Diamond Cut -
-> Loading -->Pre-Treatment 1 --> Pre-Treatment 2 (start from SAM) -->Top Coat using Liquid

Salt Spray (refer to : JIS H8502-7)


Test condition :
5 % NaCl Solution 35 degree Celcius continuous spraying for 480 hours
Quality specification :
No corrosion, swelling, peeling allowed in an other area than one side 2mm (both sides 4mm) of cross cut area

CASS Test (refer to : JIS Z2371)


Test condition :
CASS Solution [CuCl 2 (0.25g/l) + acetate acid NaCl solution (pH =3 , NaCl 50g/l)] 50 degree Celcius continuous
spraying for 96 hours
Quality condition :
No corrosion, swelling, peeling allowed in an other area than one side 2mm (both sides 4mm) of cross cut area
