Make a Rainbow Fish

There are coral reefs around Puerto Rico, with many

varieties of fish that live there. Create your own rainbow
fish in honor of Puerto Rico’s coral reefs.

Materials:
• fish template
• scissors
• colorful paper
• glue
• crayons

Instructions:
1. Give each student a page of fish templates and some
colorful paper.
2. Students can cut out the fish.
3. Students can cut small pieces of paper and attach them
to the fish as scales. They can use crayons to fill in any
spots that they don’t put paper on.

You can choose to expand this activity by using yarn

and a paper plate to create a colorful mobile of fish.
