1. Payment for freight. Securing freight.

he American Shipper report goes on to say that both large and small-to-medium shippers were
slightly more likely to say finance and logistics would both be involved in the decision to invest
in a freight payment solution, a significant change from last year. Involving finance in such a
decision is important for a host of reasons, not least of which is that most companies route all
their payables through their finance department. This is why we stress that you continue to
follow our series on all things freight accounting so you are able to have a better relationship
around knowledge with your accounting personnel. If you would like to learn more about freight
payment services, set up a logistics consultation with a Creases’ Account executive today.

Ballot Box Security

The Optical Lock adds an additional level of physical security to prevent vote rigging
and electoral fraud to ensure elections are conducted fairly. Optical Lock secures the
ballot box containers while they are unattended or in transit from remote voting stations
to the counting locations. Unlike a traditional padlock or ballot box seal, an Optical Lock
provides a high level of assurance that the lock has not been tampered with, as well as
anti-tampering features such and real-time wireless alerts and electronic verification of
no tampering conducted through our secure remote server.

2. Responsibility of the cruise organizer.

A cruise ship steward, or cabin steward, is a key part of the housekeeping

staff on board a cruise ship, responsible for servicing the rooms of
passengers on board the cruise ship and making sure they were cleaned to a
good standard. The role involves large amounts of customer service, and
success is often measured through the feedback of guests, so making their
stay enjoyable is the aim of the game. The steward, alongside a
housekeeping role, would also be expected to help out in a capacity in the bar
or restaurant of the ship, so they need to be versatile, friendly and willing to
help out wherever you would be needed.

SALARY & BENEFITS

The rate you’re paid at very much depends on the company you are working for
and your experience in the field, with rates ranging from £700 to £1,500 per
month for the average steward.
Food, accommodation and insurance are usually provided as part of the package
whilst on the ship, and because tipping is commonplace, at the end of the trip you
may receive a small bonus from customers you served over the voyage.
