INVESTIGATE PARTICULAR COMPONENTS OF TEACHING TO

UNDERSTAND YOUR CIRCLE AND ITS CHARACTERISTICS?

The circle is a geometric figure that is made by drawing a curve that is always
the same distance from a point that we call the center.
Next we are going to see the different parts of the circle.
Circumference:
The curved line that borders the circle is called the circumference.
It is important to know that the difference between the circumference and
the circle is that the circumference is what surrounds the circle, and the circle
is all that the circumference contains.

Center:

The center of the circle (or center of the circumference, rather) is the point
from which all points are equidistant.

Radio:
The radius is a segment of the circle that joins the center with any point on
the circumference.

Diameter:
Diameter is a segment of the circle that joins two points of the circumference
through the center and divides it into two equal parts. The diameter is twice
the radius, or what is the same, the radius is half the diameter.

Rope:
The chord is a segment that joins two points of the circumference but what
differentiates it from the diameter is that it does not pass through the center
of the circle. Therefore, the rope will always be shorter than the diameter.
