Although there may be lots of disagreements between the old and
the young in a big family, we cannot deny living in a joint family brings us a variety of pros. First of all, we can get a lot of help from our family members, especially the old ones. Our grandparents or other people can give us advice about relationships whenever we need. Moreover, when a couple have their babies but they are too busy to take care of them, other people in the family would undoubtedly be the best choice for them to ask for help. Another advantages that I have to mention would definitely the child education. Kids in extended families seem to be more delightful and sociable than others from nuclear families. It is just because they have siblings and cousins, who are at the same age or sometimes the same hobbies as them to share their feelings with each other. Furthermore, children grown up in a big family can learn caring, sharing and how to cooperate with people. These skills are really vital for them to develop their future bonds in the community nowadays. Finally, living cost is divided into parts in a joint family. Also, housework is not done by an individual but shared among the members so that each one can save a lot of money and time. It is certainly more enjoyable and comfortable. To sum up, it is clear that there are plenty of advantages of having a large family rather than a small one.
