Shiva has worked hard to become a part of our learning community. She has collaborated with teacher's
outside of her placement classroom, sharing her ideas, resources and knowledge. She treats students, and
fellow staff members with courtesy and respect,
Shiva is committed to encouraging and fostering the growth and development of the children and has worked
hard to establish a relationship with them. Her observations and reflections show that she understands that
teaching is more than just a set of technical skills, but goes deeper into individual student needs. She strives
to ensure an understanding of the rationale, demands, routines and obligations of a classroom teacher. She
has many insightful, meaningful and reflective observations and questions. Her strengths will be a great
asset, as teachers are always questioning and reflecting on their practice.
Shiva focused on developing lesson plans that included the necessary components of planning and teaching
the lesson to the students, Her lesson plans include goals, student understandings, essential questions tasks
land assessments, She worked closely with her partner teacher to uncover the complexities of presenting a
lesson, and learning how to respond in the moment and adapt plans accordingly
