Performance Task Ideas:


Make a spaceship- students look up different parts of a spaceship and can understand how each part works and
contributes to the ship.
Online flight simulator- students learn about what it is like to fly a space shuttle.
Find “sensing” instruments- students will describe instruments that are bit like our eyes, ears, nose, taste and
touch. Ex: Sounders and radars listen and those are our “ears” in space.
