Assistance

We are a small group of students at Worcester Technical High School in Maryland. At the
moment, we are finishing up our capstone projects as well as completing the last of our PLTW
course in high school. The capstone project can be summarized as an end-of-course project
which showcases you and your teammates’ ability to apply all the engineering skills they have
been taught during their time in the program, and the end goal of this is to design and develop
some device or product that offers a unique solution to a problem. One component of the
project asks us to get some suggestions from a person experienced and knowledgeable in the
fields of STEM, and so we reached out to you for your input and expertise. This letter is simply a
request that you take a look at our attached design and design brief and that you list to us what
STEM concepts you think will be necessary to be utilized in order to build a prototype that
attempts to prove all of our functions. Please respond with any questions and thank you again
for your assistance.
