The teacher is taking them through the lesson and asking various questions as she goes through it making sure the students understand. Students are going around the room in different stations that have different word problems and solving them in groups. I would say this is a more student-centered class because students are solving their own problems and are figuring out their own mistakes with little super vision. I would also let students try to figure out their mistakes because it'll teach them how to analyze and solve life issues, they have later on.

I would love to build this confidence to since I will be a football coach someday as well.

I would like to teach students to work on their own so we don’t cripple their minds into thinking someone will always have an answer to their problems. The Structures of Disciplines, Middle School, 28:22 The teacher was doing some experiments with the students about electricity. They were very fun and safe but also very informative. Students later on work in groups to work on activities over the experiments they just conducted. I feel like this is a student- centered class because students followed steps on their own to complete these activities. I would like to make fun experiments for my class to get excited about learning!

You never know when idea will strike.
Reading like a Writer, Grades 3-5, 28:40
The teacher in this video is reading them books so the students can see that each one is very different from each other. After students are writing their own stories ad share them w their teacher. This is a teacher centered class because she is helping them learn the process to write a story. I would provide different examples so students don’t become robots and get their own ideas flowing. Becoming Readers and Writers, Childhood, 26:47 During this video the teacher read a story to her class and was constantly asking them questions about what she was reading so they wouldn’t get sidetracked.
