FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS

PVRSD staff and local first responder and business vehicles will be riding in a procession starting at 6:45pm
at the Warwick Community School and driving through Northfield, Bernardston and ending at the Town
Hall in Leyden on Friday May 1. This is a PVRSD community event to honor our students, healthcare
workers, first responders and residents.

Please light a candle and place it on your porch or the edge of your driveway as a symbol of unity, hope,
thanks and love for all of us who are in this together.

We hope you will come onto your porches or by the side of the road, practicing social distancing, to wave
hello, see smiling faces and have a little fun! If you don’t live along the route, please park safely somewhere
along the route or in the Pioneer parking lot to view the vehicle procession. 

In honor of our graduating seniors, the PVRS Athletic Field Lights will be on with 2020 on the scoreboard.
We ask you to please stay in your vehicles and off the field if viewing the procession from the PVRS
location.
Procession Route:
6:45pm Depart Warwick Community School located at 41 Winchester Rd, Warwick, MA 01378
Take left onto Winchester Road Take right onto Northfield Road which turns into Warwick Road to
Center of Northfield
Take left onto Main Street in Northfield
Take right onto Massachusetts Rt.10 which turns into Northfield Road
Take a right turn onto Access Road after crossing the Connecticut River Bridge
Turn left onto Old Bernardston Road and then turn right onto Bennett Brook Road  
Turn left into the rear entrance of PVRS (F. Sumner Turner Dr.) and travel past PVRS and turn Right
onto Rt.10 toward Bernardston
At stop sign, take left onto Rt.5 which is South Street
Take right onto Barton Road and drive past Bernardston Police Department and follow to the end
At end of Barton Road turn right onto Greenfield Road and drive into Leyden via Greenfield Road 
End at Leyden Town Hall located at 16 W Leyden Rd, Leyden, MA 01301
