Q1: What specific goals do you have for the future?

A1: A goal I have for the future is to have a family and a loving husband. I want to be

comfortable with wealth. My main goal, however, is to be happy.

Q2: What careers are you considering and why?

A2: A career I am considering is an elementary school teacher because I tend to get along well

with young kids because I myself am pretty childish. I understand how children think and I want

to make sure they have a good elementary experience.

Q3: What motivates you to put forth your greatest effort?

A3: I am motivated to not disappoint my loved ones. I want to make sure my loved ones feel

proud of me and are not ashamed of my accomplishments.

Q4: How do you work under pressure?

A4: I do not tend to work well under pressure. However, I am getting better. I am incredibly

anxious and I have gotten on medication to make it easier to deal with.

Q5: How would you evaluate your ability to deal with conflict?

A5: I am very good at dealing with conflict. Conflict does not bother me at all. I have always

remained neutral and when I am not I know how to make myself appear neutral. I am able to stay

calm.

Q6: What have you learned from participation in extracurricular activities?

A6: I am involved in National Honor Society, varsity soccer, and show choir. All of these

activities have taught me how to deal with people I do not necessarily like. It has also taught me

how to work hard.

Q7: Give a specific occasion in which you conformed to a policy which you didn’t agree with.
A7: An occasion I conformed to a policy that I did not agree with was my high school dress

code. I thought that it was not cool to limit students' individuality. However, I thought it was not

worth arguing with people over it because it would achieve nothing.

Q8: Describe a circumstance where you weren’t satisfied with your performance. What did you

do?

A8: I wasn’t satisfied with my performance after my math test. I had gotten a lower grade than I

wanted. In order to combat this I asked my teacher for help and ended up going to tutoring.

Q9: How do you determine or evaluate your success? Give an example of a successful

accomplishment.

A9: I evaluate my success by how happy I am with the outcome. An example of a successful

accomplishment was getting a B in my AP US History class. A B is not the best grade, however,

I had a “C’ and a “D” most of the semester so bringing it up to a “B” I saw as a success.

Q10: What have you learned from past mistakes? Give an example

A10: A past mistake I made was not doing my homework. I ended up getting a lower grade than

I should have because I did not do my homework. I learned that sometimes you need to do some

stuff even if it seems dumb at the time.

Q11: Tell me about your work experience. Give an example

A11: I had an internship at a veterinary clinic. I am also planning on getting a summer job. I also

do lots of community service in the National Honor Society.

Q12: What did you learn from your internship at the veterinary clinic?

A12: In this internship, I learned how to deal with “parents.” At my internship the owners of the

animals treated their pets like their children. This would help me deal with actual parents of

actual children.
Q13: Are you more of a leader or a follower?

A13: I am more of a follower.

Q14: How do you want to improve yourself in the upcoming year?

A14: I want to improve on communicating with people. I want to be less nervous when talking to

people.

Q15: If you won the lottery would you still work?

A15: If I won the lottery I would not still work because there are other people who need the job

and money. I would be holding a job position when I do not really need it.
