Latitude by Pole Star Observation

On 01st Sep’92, AM at ship in DR 18° 00.0’N, 178° 11.0’E, the sextant altitude of
Pole Star was 18° 47.4’. IE 1.6’ on the arc, HE 12.5m. Chronometer showed 05h
21m 08s ( error 01m 18s slow ) at that time. Find the latitude, direction of PL,
position through which the PL passes. If the Azimuth was 001° ( C ), and variation
was 1.3 ° E, find the deviation for Compass.
