Staying hydrated is essential for our bodies' health, especailly


during the school year! The average human body consists of
about 70-80% water, so it is no surprise that our body needs a
sufficient amount of fluid daily to function properly.

HOW CAN I STAY HYDRATED?


According to The National Academies of Sciences, the
recommended water intake for women is about 91 ounces (11 cups)
and for men is 125 ounces (15 cups) per day. Healthy people meet
their hydration needs by drinking water when they feel thirsty and
during meals. It turns out our bodies are pretty good at judging when
it's low on water. Abandon the elaborate drinking schedule and pay
attention to yor body's needs. When you feel thirsty, listen to what
that sensation is telling you and take a sip of water!
