This project is intended to create a joint venture company with Center of

Molecular Immunology (CIMAB S.A) to produce and commercialize therapeutic

vaccines for cancer treatment. We look for partners interested in building and

operate a manufacturing facility for 10 kg per year of cancer vaccines based on

recombinant proteins. We has already a cancer vaccines for Non-Small Cell Lung

Cancer registered in Cuba and other countries, and additionally other 4 vaccines

candidates are in development. This facility could be dedicated to supply to the

partner's market region or to other current CIMAB’s markets. A joint venture

partnership with CIMAB S.A, located at Mariel Special Development Zone, in

Cuba, will profit, not only of the fiscal and other incentives included in the

Investment law, but also of the Cuban experience in biotechnology productions,

the availability of high-educated work force, the products already registered or in

development and the market connections of CIMAB S.A.

CIM has developed an innovative cancer vaccine CimaVax-EGF against lung cancer,

and is currently in advanced clinical trials for lung cancer in US, Europe and China.

CimaVax-EGF has reached sanitary approval in Cuba and other countries of Latin

America. It is the first time worldwide that a therapeutic vaccine is approved for

lung cancer. The vaccine has been used in more than 2000 patients with a very

good safety profile.
