CONNECTED BY HEARTS
A beautiful, big, well furniture old house with large
ill managed garden near rain forest in a mega city
NEWYORK, Tortured tree trunks twist upward, reaching for
rare sunlight. Where a family of three persons annoying
father name Robin and suspicious wife name Jennifer who
is also loving mother with their 8 year old child name
Edward who is having hearing impairment always seeking
love everywhere. He is unable to hear without his ear
device which he use from his childhood. His parents use
to fight most of the time. Edward is unable to find out
the reason of fighting and seems confuse that why do
they always fight and why my father always shout at my
mother. He do spend most of the time in his room for
study, watching cartoons or school for studies. He never
spent his time with his parents and he also have no any
friend to spend time with. Most of the time he is alone
with their activities. His mother care for him by taking
care of his meal, cloths, necessities. Edward’s mother
involve in practice spirituality and she is bless with
some strange power of sensing things around her which is
about to happen or strong sixth sense. She dreams most
of the thing that is about to happen. Edward’s father
never wants to believe on her that she is bless with
powers comes from mediation and pray. He is modern,
advance, fast forward father doing area commissioner’s
job who is also not grateful for what his son’s
disability as he never gives time to him and annoy on
his wife when she take more care of her child than his
husband. Family spend luxurious life as they have
everything a rich family can have.

DINNER

SCENE 1 (basement)

One night, at basement, routinely Edward’s mother calls

innocent and cute son for dinner on the luxurious long
dining table where 3 female servants stand on side of
the table for their services. Edward comes from stairs
happily and servant open the chair. He sits on it and
asks for his Alfredo pasta. A servant beside him do not
treat him good and ignores what he say as per order of
his father. Sad Edward starts dinner and go back his
room without saying anything. Mother is notice and watch
the mood of father and son.

Robin to her wife (annoyingly)

When he will learn the manners of table.

Jennifer to his husband (calmly)

Ignore him he just wants to eat pasta.

Jennifer to maid (starring and questioning)

I told you to made pasta for dinner.

Maid (silent)

Jennifer to maid (annoying)I’m asking

Robin (shout)

It wasn’t my permission to her this is my home

everything is mine. My orders should be obey here not
yours.

Jennifer (calmly)

What’s your problem with Edward?

You always tries to break his confidence.

Isn’t you accepted my son the why would you marry me.

SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
SCENE 2 (Ground floor)
Edward sadly sits on bed and watch front wall and thinks
about behaviour of maid on table. Suddenly he listens
loud voice of his mother and father. He just go behind
the door and starts weep, continuously loud voices
strike his ear and he just wear off his ear device and
put it in his drawer and sleep on his pillow. Cute
Edward looks more innocent while weeping. He stands up
and comes to terrace window where he see that two
persons with guns and masks on face jump inside the side
wall of his house where there is no guard right now and
bushes keeps them hide from security cameras. He tries
to look at them from his window that who are they. He
fright and see that they cut off the wires of alarms and
still put off a cloth piece on mouth of two guards one
by one and they become fall on floor. He thinks who they
are why they wants to enter his room. He quickly wear
his ear devices from his drawer and go back to window to
watch them but he sees there is no one. Now he scare
that where they are right now. He comes to door and hear
voices of his parents. They still fights with each
other. He thinks what to do. Inform my parents or not.
Then he listen a loud voice of shouting ROBBERS ROBBERS
PLEASE SAVE US. Suddenly voice quit. He frights a lot
and decide in his heart that I will go downstairs to the
basement. He slowly step forward to the room of parents
and they are not there then he check for guards by step
out to the main gate but he sees there are two guards
who aren’t conscious. He tries to wake them up but they
he couldn’t now he step out to the telephone and calls
to neighbour and whisper that two robbers are in our
house please help us and call to the police to save us.
Their neighbouring aunt says just hide and don’t worry.

ROBBERY AND MURDER

SCENE 3 (basement)
He do not listen to his aunt about instruction of hide
himself somewhere as he step out to the down stairs. He
just enter on first step of the stairs and see that his
mother watch him and as he see him he starts making loud
voices to grab the attention of robbers toward her to
save his son. When she makes noise one robber says to
another she tries to frighten us and tells her we will
kill your husband. As Edward listen this he just move
one more step but still robbers do not see him. Now one
robber give agreement to other that kill her husband.
Robin says his wife to stop shouting and say robbers to
take whatever you want one robber goes to the one of the
room of basement and other one just couldn’t control
Jennifer as she continuously wants to divert his
attention from Edward. But the innocent Edward unable to
understand what her mother is wants to say. Edward just
go back for hide himself. The robber comes from the room
with money and jewellery.

Robber ask Robin (harshly)

This is not big amount you are richest one of the town
tell me where is your locker key.

Robin to Robber (frighten)

Yes it’s in my room on the ground floor right beside my

son’s room.
Robber (worrying)
Why you didn’t tell us you have a son. He certainly
called for police?
Jennifer (shouting) No please leave him do not try to
reach him.
Both frighten Robbers fire bullet, kills them and run.

14 YEARS LATER

SCENE 4 (OFFICE)

A handsome rich man with suit tie precious watch and

costly white coat with beard and height of 6’6 sits on
his comfortable chair having coffee in a splendid office
having beautiful decoration of yellow, black and silver
combination furniture and cartons. A man enters in a
room and the rich man wear ear device on his ear and
says yes manager come in.

Edward to his employee (SMILING)

Call this meeting on other day I have to go for charity.

Employee to Edward (Worrying)

Sir it’s an important meeting with clients otherwise

they will cancel our contract.

Edward to his employee (calmly)

Manager never scares from anything, any situation, if

you are right and you are going to do something god
never stops yourself. Do it. Sometimes life won’t give
you another chance of doing good deeds.

Employee to Edward (sadly)

Sir whenever I heard from people about you that this man
is inherited with wealth why do he care for making
money.

Edward (smiling slightly)

Let them talk about me. I am self-made and this industry

is evident that my father didn’t inherit me even a cloth
when he killed by robbers. I was alone with no relatives
and no money I just survived and now here I am CEO of
largest IT Company just on basis of my capabilities.

AWARD CEREMONY

SCENE 5 (LARGE HALL)

Media channels, lighting, beautiful decoration, splendid

dinner, cherish music, big hall, beautifully decorated
with flowers, an event which is live on all channels
because the famous celebrity a writer, an Entrepreneur,
influencer, billionaire, big name on the screen of
charity name Edward Robin enters the halls with his
security guard and managers. Everyone stands up in
honour. He start addresses to his fans and audience who
are eagerly waiting for his words and tries to take over
one another to sit in the front row but unable to reach
him. A women enters in hurry with curly brown hairs,
grey eyes, tanned, tall, smart and cute smile name Sansa
along with mike, diary and camera man seems reporter. He
just finish his speech by saying last words that Success
is commitment and passion. In this silence, Sansa moves
quickly and fall down on the middle of red carpet right
in front of stage everyone sarcastically smile at her
and gossiping she is crazy. Edward watch the audience
feels her embarrassment inside her and stands up from
his seat and step downward to the stage and reach her.
Sits down she just look up direct at his eyes.

Sansa to Edward (embarrassing)

I’m so sorry it’s all my fault. I’m bad luck this is

always happens to me.

Edward (smiling)

Sansa (surprise) Gather all his stuff.

Edward (lovingly ask for his hand to give her support)

LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT

SCENE 6 (RESTAURANT)

Edward park his car in front of his most visiting

restaurant which is cheap and connected with his
childhood memories. He always use to come here whenever
he wants to share something new with his self and write
on his diary with cappuccino always on the same table
right beside the window. As usual he enters in this
Restaurant say hello to Manager and sits on the same
table. Today he wants to write about that girl that why
I didn’t ask her name why I feel some special
connection. He holds the pen in to her lips and thinks
by look at the window and he saw her right in front this
restaurant. She stands with broken heels and there is
rain starts. Suddenly, Waiter comes with cappuccino
calls him for anymore services but he continuously watch
her outside the window. Waiter coughs for his attention
and Edward hesitate. AHM.. Yes Thank you.

Waiter to Edward (smiling)

Sir she is very talented but depressed girl her husband

divorced her because he don’t want babies.

Edward to Waiter (surprisingly)

How would you know that I’m watching at her and why you
are telling me this all?

Waiter (confuse)

Sorry sir, I actually called you three times but you

were looking at there so I noticed you are looking at
her. She fired from the job of reporter on some big
event because of mishap now she is searching for job.
She told this all in an interview with my boss while
applying for waitress job.

SCENE 7 (ROADSIDE)

Blaming her luck (Why God, Why this happens to me) Sansa
holds pair of her sandals put it in a plastic bag and
tries to save her documents in the same bag which are
already wet. Annoyingly she sees sandals mud sticks on
documents she put out her pair of sandals instead place
documents. Edward watch her continuously and also pays
bill quickly to meet her and in hurry stands up and run
toward exit. Heavy rains start and everyone tries to
hide themselves through umbrella, plastic and hiding in
cars. He crosses road and his eyes stick on the girl.
Whereas, Sansa (annoyingly) drop off her pair of sandals
and one sandal just trap in her hand with hook and other
one hit Edward on the shoulder. Sansa look at him and
put her both hands on his lips. Haww… No No No what I
did. Edward pick her sandal and come close to her. Rain
shower becomes heavy. Sansa’s breathe slowly and heart
breath becomes fast as she see Edward stands right in
front of her. While, Edward just sees in her eyes.
Edward gives her sandal in her hand. She holds and
continue watch in his eyes. Edward becomes wet
completely they both have no umbrella. They don’t feel
what is going around them. Edward gives his coat above
her head and place her documents in his bag and she just
silently watch at him. Edward place her sandals pair in
her bag and see that she continuously watch him.

Sansa to Edward (breathing heavy)

Edward to Sansa: May I drop you?

Sansa to Edward: HMM

Edward open the door of car and Sansa sits inside

quickly while saving herself from rain.

SCENE 8 (car)

Sansa (smilingly)

Edward (happily)

No problem.

Long silence

Edward to Sansa

I’m searching for an employee who can manage my meeting

schedule. So will you be interested in this job?

Sansa (sneezing)

Yes, definitely. I’m searching for job. I’ll prove

myself.

Edward (smilingly)

But you should have to avoid blaming your luck.

Sansa (laughing)

So you have noticed it in only two meetings.

Edward (softly)

Sansa looks into his eyes with gratitude.

Edward gives her handkerchief and put out warm clothes

from back seat and give it to her.

Sansa:

Your wife is so lucky I guess.

Edward (smiling) I am not married.

INVITE ON TEA

SCENE 9 (SANSA HOUSE)

Sansa reach home and invite Edward to come inside for

tea until rain stops. Edward happily says yes and locks
the car and come inside the home. A child run toward
Sansa and calls her MOM I missed you. Sansa hugs her and
kisses. Edward sits on his knee and ask name of the boy.
Boy says hello I’m Edward. Edward just flashback of his
childhood for once and couldn’t control his emotions and
hugs him. Sansa seems happy and confuse while hugging.
Sansa says you should have to take some tea and says the
boy just go and study in your room it’s 7 pm. No more
games ok. Edward smiles and says my name is Edward too
and shakes hands with boy. Sansa go for making tea.
Edward seems happy and survey home and watch everything
of little house then he sits on sofa near hearth. Sansa
comes with towel and give it to him also place cup of
tea on the table with biscuits. Sansa sits on sofa right
in front on Edward and watch him. Edwards smiles and
thankfully start drying his self and putting his hands
on fire, takes sip of tea and watch in eyes of Sansa.

Edward (sadly storytelling)

When I was a child my father do not like me at all and

my mother cares for me a lot. They use to fight over my
concerns because my father didn’t accept me as his son.
He was stepfather. I always hide myself in my room
because he never likes me.

Sansa (wet eyes)

When my boy wasn’t born his father divorced me because

he didn’t want any child. Therefore I always blame my
luck.

Edward (listens carefully)

Hold her hands and says, hey do not worry, I’m with you.

Sansa (thinks)

Why he richest man of the town is being kind on me and

why do support a divorced mother.

Edward (softly with heavy voice)

My parents were murdered when I was 8 and my father

didn’t inherit me a single penny. I couldn’t forget that
night when police came our house and took my parents
bodies. My neighbouring aunt took me to her home and
gave me support. She knew everything about my father,
she wasn’t having any child. So they took my legal
custody and adopted me. I was crying for two days I
couldn’t even eat. Then I found love of my aunt who
continuously care for me. She gave me confidence that I
can do anything with my disability.

Sansa (shocked)

What disability?

Edward (sadly)

Hearing impairment.

Sansa (weeping)

Your past seems painful.

Edward (confidently)

Yeah, it is, but my aunt never even makes me feel

disable.

Sansa (surprisingly)

But you aren’t disable right now.

Edward (smilingly)

At age of 18, I got major accident this was a miracle

instead of an accident. Our car just strike with a truck
in which I lost my aunt but life gave me chance to live
without disability. On hospital bed, I dreamt that my
mom came closer to me, put her hands on my ears and
disappear. I wake up and loudly start crying. I was
calling out my mom. They were talking to each other he
is a poor child. I wasn’t having ear device but I was
able to hear music of this beautiful world. I don’t know
what was that?

Sansa (amazingly)

I never thought that a story can be painful on any

success. It’s all your struggle.

Edward (softly)

Not only struggles, I just got sixth sense along with

intelligence. My class mates were impressed but always
criticize that I’m alone. I use to start live in hostel
and then start my own online IT firm.

Sansa (hesitatingly)

Why you didn’t get married?

Edward (softly smiles and look into her eyes)

I met a girl few days ago.

Sansa (smilingly)

Edward (watching her expressions on his face while

sitting in car)

SCENE 10 (EDWARD HOUSE)

Door Bell ring.

Beautiful Sansa in red gown comes inside home, He can’t

take his eyes off from Sansa and admires her beauty.
You’re beautiful. Shocking Sansa continuously look in to
his eyes and suddenly Edward proposes her. Laid down on
knees and says will you marry me? Sansa No, I’m divorced
mother. You deserves someone better. Edward still on his
knees and asks for marry him. Edward says I love you
when I saw you first time on event. I want to give
Edward pure love of father which he deserves. Sansa
starts weeping and hugs him tightly. He gives sansa a
beautiful diamond ring. Edward is happy as he always
wants someone to love him and he found someone who can
truly love him. Edward also hugs little Edward and put
his hand on his head, show him a personal diary of his
childhood and says you must read it to become strong.
After 15 days, They get marry near beach sansa wears
beautiful white gown and Edward outfit is black suit.
