This article is about what happens if the Premier League and the EFL’s finish this season and what it
means for the police. The police wants to play those matches on neutral grounds because of the
following reasons: there need to be played about 450 matches and that is a lot in a month of two
three, all those games are going to cause a lot of people travelling around the country and that can
cause some problems so if the matches are played in neutral grounds you have less travelling. Also
there is a chance supporters are getting together around the stadium and you get a big mess of
people what isn’t really the intention of the corona-measures. Also they are worried because if the
matches are getting played without public they most likely will only be watchable on TV, that causes
that people e go to a friend’s house and watch the game together with
them and the coronavirus spreads more.
