Activity starting date: Activity deadline: viernes, 24 de
sábado, 21 de marzo de 2020 abril de 2020

results:
 The student creates a video asking and answering questions in
English related to his/her personal information and occupation.

 The student participates in an interview in English talking about

his/her personal life and answering questions related to his skills
at work.

The activity lies in two steps:

Step 1 – Making a video

Individual activity

1.1 Check the content of Units 1 & 2 from the E-book.

1.2 Look for a partner in the group to work with. (Maximum 3 people
in the group)
1.3 With your partner make a video where both simulate a job
interview following the prompt given in the forum.

The interviewer must include questions related to: Personal

information: name, age, hometown, marital status, occupation,
academic background, hobbies, working experience, personal qualities,
skills and weaknesses related to a job.
1.4 The video must be uploaded to YouTube or Vimeo or any cloud
storage (OneDrive, Dropbox, Google Drive)
1.5 Publish the link for the video in the forum so your tutor and your
classmates can give you feedback.
1.6 Check your classmates’ videos and make 2 comments about their
work. Include information that needs to be taken into account and
point out mistakes. A comment is not to write a compliment, not
just saying “good work”, this won’t be graded as a comment.

NOTE: The student must upload the video to the forum before the
Synchronous meeting through Skype.

Step 2 – Synchronous meeting

Individual activity

2.1. Create an account in Skype, where you will have your interview.
Tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5USYdtF8Pls

open an agenda with different schedules for the student to set a
date and hour for the meeting. Each student will get the
instructions in the forum and through the email.

ATTENTION: It is the student’s responsibility to check the teacher’s

agenda and to register to take the interview. Please register yourself on
time and do not leave for the last days of the activity.

2.3. Each student must add his tutor as a contact in Skype with the
user provided in the forum and the activity instructions.

2.4. The interview with the tutor will simulate a job interview where the
teacher will ask the questions practiced in the video made for step
1, including Personal information as name, age, hometown,
marital status, occupation, academic background, hobbies,
working experience, personal qualities, skills and weaknesses
related to a job.
