1. Gauri, a LLB degree holder, aged 20,submits an application in Bar council of

Rajasthan for enrollment but rejects by the same. Advice her.

2. Explain the constitution of State bar council of India.


3. Trace the development of legal profession in India.
4. What is the procedure to be followed by the disciplinary committee of state bar
council after receiving the complaint?
5. ‘A’ chief Minister of state at a press conference charged the judiciary with serious
remarks. He asserted that laws grind the poor and rich man rule the law. Whether this
amounts to contempt of court. Decide.
6. What are the reasons and objectives of passing of Advocates’ Act, 1961.
7. What is the role of the bar council for the promotion of legal education.

SECTION B
1. Explain in detail the contempt of court. Also distinguish between different kinds of
contempt.
2. Explain the relationship of Bench and Bar.
3. Mr. Sharma made a complaint against Mr. Goyal, alleging that he had engaged him
to vacate a house from the tenant and paid the fees, to file a suit and to inform him
the progress of his proceeding , however in spite of several reminders to the
advocate ,failed to inform the progress of the case. Explain whether this amounts to
professional misconduct with the help of relevant case laws.
4. Explain in detail the duties of an advocate towards court and client.
5. Write a note on:
i) Functions of Bar Council of India
ii) Defenses for contempt of court
6. Discuss the concept of procedure of Admission and enrollment of an advocate
under Advocate’s Act,1961.
